I used to have an old Radioshack Pro 92. I miss that thing. Was thinking about getting back into it eventually. It's fun to listen to what's going on.

Except for the funny accents it's almost indistinguishable from my local channel:

Disturbance between a male and a female ... report of man slumped over wheel of car ... erratic driver reported on local highway ... report of possible assault ...

there is a sense in which reality is a construct of our brains, but we don't have as much control over that reality as some people think we do. if someone drives down my street and shoots at my neighbor, misses them, and hits me, i'll have an actual wound that has little to do with my own actions or thoughts. i can make the best of it but i can't make it heal overnight.
