I am watching an overview of the 1972 Formula 1 championship.
It starts off listing events that happened outside Formula 1. Among those was the introduction of the Pong video game.
Wow. I was more concerned about finding books about monster movies.

Wouldn't it be nice if I was diagnosed with some sort of medical heart condition that only stress can complicate, so I was pushed to the front of the priority list for a secure council bungalow and government financial support so that I didn't need to work ever again? The secure council bungalow would mean I'll be secure with zero chance of being homeless in the future, and can afford the council rent, and has no noisy neighbours stamping about above my head. And work is the biggest stress of all to me, so I'd have to give up work.

I think I'll be rather satisfied with this life.

Next year on the 4th of July it will be 200 years when Stephen Foster was born. I might celebrate it by throwing an 1800s party, where everyone comes dressed up as Victorians and his old music playing.

considering completely overhauling my diet. casein free gluten free. something drastic like that. been exhausted all the time. trouble sleeping.

considering drastically improving my budgeting habits. save more $$$, esp since, constantly terrified of getting made redundant. retirement, emergency, things like that. on the other hand, maybe i will get hit by a car tomorrow and drop dead and then $$$ won't do me any good.

looking for a better job

practice cooking

clean Pigpen

things like that

Germany and Canada. Canada and Germany. Those two countries are always on my mind.

When I retired my Mod ideology in Early 2016, I had no idea that Canada would come along with something extra.

I guess I figured that I can't be young forever. I can be young at heart, but only people in their 20s and 30s should be Mods.

I sure have a lot on my mind today. I wonder if I would be a Mod if I was working. I'd be able to afford it. Why do I feel so nostalgic today?

I always felt more German than British. I kept it from the world for 30 years. Is that what the Mod thing was about towards the end? It was like I was on a proverbial Vespa, riding away from reality. Having fun along the way no doubt.

Oktoberfest is starting and all I can do is remanence.

I wonder what my friend who passed away thinks as he watches down on me. The one who said that I act British sometimes when he sees the things I do. Buying steins, listening to German orchestras and wearing hats that look like German helmets. I'm sure he understands why I was acting British and he breaths a sigh of relief that I'm finally happy.
