Love chocolate!

My favorite Christmas food is a special German Christmas Eve dinner consisting of German sausages, sauce and bread. You can take all you want, but you have to eat everything on your plate. Yummy!

I suppose all I could do on a deserted island is read or write stories.

Who would you like to be on a deserted island with? (Famous person or someone you know and love?)

I definitely find humor in things other people don't seem to find humorous.

Conversely, however, I also very often do NOT find things funny that others seem to be amused by. Partly this can be because I don't understand the joke, but also it's because I believe people seem to laugh at things that simply aren't really all that funny.

Definitely. Check out the joke thread. A lot of people don't know who Denis Istomin is, but they should. He's a nice person.

Do you think there should be a greater emphasis on helping autistic adults along with the younger persons of the entire autistic spectrum?

Yes, a lot of autism organizations tend to focus on helping autistic children and their families. I think they should help all autistic people and prioritize autistic voices.

Same question.

Yes and I found an excellent article that quoted a study regarding the political extremist being unable to see where they are incorrect. I may have misquoted that a bit but I have lost the article. Here is the study however Metacognitive Failure as a Feature of Those Holding Radical Beliefs

How do you deal with the people who hold the extreme (bigoted) viewpoint?

Avoid bigots. They're free to think whatever nonsense they want.
