Turtles are awesome.There is a snapping turtle that moved into my koi pond,he ate the koi
Oh well,it's cool to see him basking.I named him(her)Snappy Tom.

But still... it must be so nice to see the turtle there! Maybe you could snap a pic of Snappy Tom and show us?

^^^Ill try to get a photo of him next spring,I can see him out the window but when you get near the pond he goes under they water.He's about the size of a salad bowl.He doesn't seem to bother the bullfrogs.We caught him a few springs ago and took him to the river below the house,but he came back home :lol: I looked it up,and they have around a two mile homing radius.I have a funny image in my mind of him trudging back up the driveway.I would have thought he would have preferred the river to my little pond.I move any snapper I see on the road,people will run over them on purpose.They are heavier than they look and don't appreciate being helped.
