I thought I might stop by here, but I really don't handle animal death well, so I'll leave again for now and come back later.

Anyone been stuck in a car with a someone who is just a sensory bombardment.

Did you ever feel like driving off a cliff just for some peace and quiet?

I think it's Mosquitos that kill the most people worldwide.

See, autocorrect even capitalised it, so it must be true.

This graphic clearly suppresses the epidemic of ferret-caused deaths worldwide.

Oh yes, but unfortunately it's usually a particular friend who's doing me the favour of giving me a lift (I can't drive.) Talkative is a massive understatement; every single other road user, sign, traffic cop, etc. requires an in depth analysis, and there's a constant running update of the road-number/mileage/trip-time/fuel-remaining/current-speed/current-gear/fuel-economy/..., all interwoven with intricately detailed, recursively nested tales of previous journeys, accompanied by awful 80's prog-rock. He knows that he does it, and we both strongly suspect that he is either autistic or ADHD. Thankfully, he's OK with me taking the piss out of it a bit, and doesn't really notice if I pay no attention; but it is very tempting just to grab the steering wheel sometimes, or at least, get out and walk the however many miles back home!

Oh gosh, yes. My mom tends to be quite chatty and also has a loud voice. Plus the radio on, and the road noise, it quickly leads to sensory overload. Fortunately I don't have a driver's license, so I'm never in control of the steering wheel

Hippopotomi are some of the deadliest animals in their area.

why define yourself as a nationality at all? we're all more complicated than that. you think germans are hard workers, but i'm american and a recovering workaholic, for example. just be yourself without trying so hard to define what that means.

People are complaining about this "disgustingly sexist" hotel ad.
Sickening stuff.
