Thanks Jakki,
I still have at least another day. The catheter is out and the drain removal has been authorised after I try walking some more to see if I trigger more bleeding.
I was in to get a popiteal artery replaced (with expanded polythene tube this time. The previous 4 feet were Dacron but the knee requires much more flexibility) I've already had my aorta, iliacs and femorals done because my hEDS makes my vasculature too stretchy, which in itself contraindicates surgery unless it is cat 1 urgent, so definitely not elective. I also have 53 platinum coils in my brain plugging the hole where a subarachnoid aneurysm blew out. I must get airport security to wave a wand over my head to see if I make it ping. I'm already allowed to use the "implants" queue to avoid flouroscopes, so I would probably make a good mule.

I finished writing a clever program to do something I don't think anybody has been able to do before. Then I found out that I don't need to do that something, which kind of devalued my hard work, but I'm still proud of the fact that it works. It's like being the inventor of flint-napping. Outmoded but still very clever.

I went down a rabbit hole while working on a project. It was useful as far as enabling me to explore some of the dark recesses of my mind. That sort of thing.

I got some cleaning done, went on a long walk, and figured something out that I’ve been grappling with for a long time.
