Well, I can remember as far back as 1997 when I used Microsoft recorder to create a short audio file of my voice, where someone thought after listening to it that either A- I had a speech impediment or B- that I was from some European nation without a clear accent to pin down upon me..

^ that's a lot of rain.

Rain's such a novelty here after the dry, but it soon becomes a nightmare.
There's people in my town who have flood trauma - seriously they have panic attacks whenever it rains and rush out to raid the stores of UHT milk and bread.
Luckily most of my house is pretty well flood proof.

It's normal rainfall for the area.
