All I can see is "you are not able to evaluate your life. You can't say whether it is good or bad because you haven't lived x amount of years."

Well, maybe his life will turn to absolute shite from now on, then his 20's will shine like a beacon in his 70's, but that's still not very encouraging.

Perhaps your perspective is working from biased assumptions. It is perfectly human to interpret a message in a unique manner. How many interpretations are there from a single passage of the bible? Is there a passage everyone could agree on its meaning?

You are better than that Marknis. Kip did not attack you, he didn't like what she said. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, that doesn't mean you have to agree with said opinion.

I like the fact that she is picking her nose - who doesn't?

I also am the proud owner of the same filing cabinet.

Kip, will there be dragons with your misty castles?

I thought she was giving the victory salute as in my avatar.
But it also looks as though she's picking her nose.
Maybe multitasking?

How's things, Tem?

It's been rainy here too.
I've been posting on WP, making a nuisance of myself as usual.
Kip inspires me to try some painting again, but I know I wouldn't do it one thousandth of an iota as good as he does.

You know what?

You have both inspired me to do something artistic today.

One of my sister's birthdays coming up - perhaps she will get something very colourful.

If I was better at posting pic etc on here I would probably do so.

I kind of learned it then forgot it.

I am clearing plenty of space first so I can't use clutter as an excuse not to do something at the table.

This is kind of old people logic, no offense to the poster.
But telling someone they have to wait 30 or 40 years to guage their life when the future doesn't even exist makes no sense to me.

I get the feeling that the poster didn't actually mean what they said but came up with their best solution of telling Mark not to ruminate.

^ I'm going to ignore that right now and think about it in 30 - 40 years.
