2026.

8O

Do I even want to know what the new year will have in store for me? Well, I'll find out either way.

My resolution for next year is to trust my gut more.

Why does it feel weird to listen to Christmas songs after Christmas day has ended? It's like Christmas just suddenly goes stale the minute you've finished your Christmas pudding dessert. Now I don't feel Christmassy like I did on Christmas eve.

Belcher. What an embarrassing surname to have.

Good question.

I'm going to listen to Christmas music until February 2nd when I take down my tree. I don't do things the modern North American way. I do things the traditional German way. That means keeping my tree up all through January. I can do that now that Barb is no longer in my building. She's in a home now. She hates Christmas. I can see why. She lived in an orphanage and got nice toys for Christmas, just for her and her siblings to have their toys taken from them 2 months later because the goons who ran the orphanage were monsters. Traditional and religious Germans take their tree down on February 2nd, especially in Bavaria and especially in farming communities. I've found an excuse to keep my tree up all through January and it feels grrrreat!

Helen Mirren is looking very good for her age and Ben Kingsley has barely altered since he played Gandhi

This is just a happy coincidence. I am watching the movie Oblivion 2, courtesy of Rifftrax. Among the people in it are Julie Newmar, and Meg Foster. I don't know how many know who Meg Foster is. I remember her because she has the Bluest eyes. They simply stand out. I mentioned it to my sons while we played Civilization 7. Then I looked her up because I was going to send something to OS and YS. I found this article.

Meg Foster looks completely different today, aged 76

The article is how actors age and how we, or rather some of we, react to seeing them in old age compared to when they were young. The point I was going to make to OS and YS is her eyes are still insanely blue. I told OS she has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Then I found this article, What Is Wrong With Meg Foster Eyes? What Genetic Defect Meg Foster Have?
It says -
Quote:
No changes or other problems with the genes have ever been reported. One thing is certain, though. Those are the bluest eyes you’ll ever see that look the most real. And without having to go through any surgery.
It's possible the writer and I are both suffering from the same condition of Meg Foster Hyperbole.

Meg in her youth.

Meg today. Remember, she is in her seventies and chose to age naturally.

Off topic. Julie Newmar is playing an establishment owner named Miss Kitty and she makes a comment about sharpening her claws. I think the writer or director has a think about Julie Newmar and Catwoman.
Also, Oblivion 2 is a futuristic movie with cowboys, space ships, and robots. Which was first? Oblivion 2or Firefly?
Firefly: 2002 (in my opinion, better production)
Oblivion 2: 2013 (Not terrible. Like Samurai Cop, I've been watching it without sound, and nothing has made me laugh.)

It's very rare you see eyes that blue

I think she looks really good in both pictures

I love it when celebs age naturally. It's a lot better than having all that plastic injected into your skin.

My mum said that I was not going to spend another night at my parents because she needs to wash sheets in the morning. I think the real reason she got rid of me was so she wouldn't have to hear me cheer for Germany.

The best words to say to my family that I lost my state ID card, but I didn't do it on purpose.

I have made an appointment to obtain a new one set for January 5th.
