There's a racoon that hangs out in a tree outside my window I named Ricky. Guess I better not take possession of him and wind up in the slammer.

Sadly this is fake , a police officer made it up. He said ""There's actually a law possession of wild animals. I don't think it specifically says wild raccoon, but I just added that in there and here we are," ,

You should be legally allowed to possess Ricky but don't come crying to me if you get busted.

aww cute! The only real problem I have with Raccoons is the abbreviation that's used for them ( the last 5 letters ) as this is a racial slur in the UK.
