The sneaking suspicion that I want to embody someone...

If it's up to societal standards, it's my Sped teacher.
If it's up to whatever emotional fancyisms and all that adaptation, it's my mom.
If it's up to my ego, it's the one who I had respected and admired the most online.

It's always something more than 1, 2 or 3 clashing. :? It does not balance one another.

A really, really frustrating abstract thingy that I had to figure how to blend to get the idea of who I want and need to be.

This is just a happy coincidence. I am watching the movie Oblivion 2, courtesy of Rifftrax. Among the people in it are Julie Newmar, and Meg Foster. I don't know how many know who Meg Foster is. I remember her because she has the Bluest eyes. They simply stand out. I mentioned it to my sons while we played Civilization 7. Then I looked her up because I was going to send something to OS and YS. I found this article.

Meg Foster looks completely different today, aged 76

The article is how actors age and how we, or rather some of we, react to seeing them in old age compared to when they were young. The point I was going to make to OS and YS is her eyes are still insanely blue. I told OS she has the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Then I found this article, What Is Wrong With Meg Foster Eyes? What Genetic Defect Meg Foster Have?
It says -
Quote:
No changes or other problems with the genes have ever been reported. One thing is certain, though. Those are the bluest eyes you’ll ever see that look the most real. And without having to go through any surgery.
It's possible the writer and I are both suffering from the same condition of Meg Foster Hyperbole.

Meg in her youth.

Meg today. Remember, she is in her seventies and chose to age naturally.

Off topic. Julie Newmar is playing an establishment owner named Miss Kitty and she makes a comment about sharpening her claws. I think the writer or director has a think about Julie Newmar and Catwoman.
Also, Oblivion 2 is a futuristic movie with cowboys, space ships, and robots. Which was first? Oblivion 2or Firefly?
Firefly: 2002 (in my opinion, better production)
Oblivion 2: 2013 (Not terrible. Like Samurai Cop, I've been watching it without sound, and nothing has made me laugh.)

This reminds me of a documentary that aired here a couple of years ago about the genetic profile of the hunter-gatherers who lived in Ireland before the Farmers arrived. The reconstructions had dark hair and skin and amazingly blue eyes.

I just started taking a new supplement called Selenium. I got it thinking maybe it will help with my Hashimoto's. Now i'm scared about having an allergic reaction to it after I took it. Hoping that dosen't happen.

^^^ I hope things go well.

Trivial observation. Lifetime Movie Network: All the movies today, starting at 10am Central Time, have the word Girl in the title. How's that for a fun job? Would that be program controller (???) at Lifetime?

I know what you mean, but I cannot help but imagine there are bots made of Spam, that people can purchase, maybe adopt, fur (typo, but keeping it) for some reason dislikes, or hates, Germany. The problem is they might be affectionate, in every other way, but it doesn't matter because if you take if for a walk, it will likely get picked up by a dog, or cat, or some types of birds, squirrels or a racoons, mice or rats. Spam has so many natural enemies, I don't understand how they could survive for long.

Do spam bots hate other things as well?

Spam bots, still in their protective cocoons.

I cannot help but imagine Spam bots has a chunk of glump of various meats compressed into a smooth non-descriptive clob with colorful projective armor to project it in childhood.

Fun Fact: Shoe Manufacturers refuse to make footwear for pet Spam Bots. The Spam Bots are constantly losing their shoes, with their feet still inside (weak ankles), and then the Pet bot of Spam starts lashing out at Germans, Blaming Germany for their American shoes made in China. When the shoes are found, the feet are inevitably gone, consumed by one of the many critters that enjoy the taste of Spam and frankly is tire of hearing the Spam complain about losing its shoes and blaming Germans when everyone knew it was the Spam's lack of internal ankle strength.

Fun Fact II: Pet Spam Bots do not get along with other pets, but it doesn't matter because Hormel recommends Pet Spam Bots should be "only pets." When Spam Bots have to share the pet stage with other pets, the Spam Bot generally becomes belligerent and sassy to the other pets, only to magically disappear, leaving only a hint of its existence in the smell of the other pet's belch.

(This is what happens when I take a 40 minute nap. The nonsense and grammar problems just spew from me.)

My son and I went to a local cinema to see a film in 2020. I believe it was shut down later that very evening due to COVID-19 precautions.

Since the pandemic, I believe they've opened and closed more than once. Different owners.

Thursday before last (Christmas Day) we went there to see the SpongeBob film, along with my wife. It was our first time at a cinema for almost 6 years.

I just now saw a news item that it will close for good on Monday, this time to be converted to into a warehouse.

I've come back after a long hiatus.

I joined WP nearly 2 years ago when my mental health was at one of the worst points in my life. Connecting with people with similar experiences made an enormous difference, and without it I might not be where I am today, which is much happier with my life, even as the world collapses around me.

Two years ago I had no friends, no life, and I didn't do much but scroll through WP in my free time. And I'm glad I did. But in the last four months I've been too busy for WP. I guess it's done its job for me and I don't need it anymore.

I hope to still hang around though. I just won't be a regular poster like I used to be.

When I first joined, I saw people talking about how much more active the site used to be. Now I'm that person. So many good people have left, before my hiatus and during it, it's not the same as it used to be. I wish more young people liked sites like this, but this isn't the zoomer style, so I find myself surrounded by people much older than me. But I've always liked talking to older people. But it's a shame the site has slowed down so much. *sigh*

Also, am I crazy or has the font changed??
