though it's gotten to the point where i can get away with long PJs and socks in bed which is nice. no longer have to worry about overheating during cycling either.

I always go to bed with boxers or stretch shorts and a T-shirt no matter how cold it gets. I don't know why but the cold weather never really bothers me. I even wear T-shirts, shorts, and sandals during the Winter.
Of course I have always lived in either South Georgia or Florida so I imagine it doesn't get as cold here as it does in other places. But even here people wear pants and long sleeves during the winter and they always look at me strange for wearing shorts and a T-shirt with sandals during Winter months.

Anyway, somehow the me of 2016 must have subconsciously known that the names of the eight main characters of my first series would match up perfectly etymologically speaking to the names of the eight main characters of my latest series. That, or synchronicity, or both.
