^ Yikes.

I was able to help a white belt girl at the Karate grading today. I gave her tissues, comforting words, and back rubs. I also did her Kata with her, sparred with her, and helped her with self defense. I also made her laugh, so that's a bonus.

^Yeah. When we started sparring, I went 'Grr' at her and made a silly face, and that helped keep her mind off her nervousness. It was worth it, being there from 10:00 to 3:00, just for her.
I've made up my own...well, it's not a martial art. I call it Mai Chi [mai is Japanese for dance, but it also sounds like 'my', so it's a rather clever pun]. I put on music and I just free form dance while doing Karate/Tai Chi like moves.
