Another batch of taters which will provide me with one convenient meal per day for over a week. Contains many important nutrients, very healthy.

Walked half a mile.

Set up the breakfast things for tomorrow.

Prepared a salad.

Took blood pressure as usual and processed results - 116/74. That's good.

Cleaned the house
Washed the dishes
Cleaned the stove
All before 9am, I love the sudden productivity boost.

Not a lot, unless you count posting on WP and thus helping others in their quest for support and enlightenment. And some might argue otherwise.

I did make the breakfast but it took me 11 minutes instead of my target of 10, so I don't really count that as anything to crow about. I know most people take longer to make breakfast, but I know I'm capable of better.

^ I get that last part, my favourite meal to cook is beans on toast, because I know I can reheat the beans with the microwave beeping the exact moment the toast is done. Sometimes I'm a little off by a few seconds and it annoys me.

I knew there must be somebody in the universe who shared my attitude to breakfast-making. 8) Many will scoff, but it comes in handy when you've got to leave the house early and you get up a bit late.

I'd be able to shave a bit off my target time if only I had a proper toaster and a proper cooker (and somewhere to put them) instead of the rubbish I have to use, which takes far too long to warm up.

I was instrumental in the wise selection of guitar picks, dried brewer's yeast, and a kitchen timer from Amazon. That's on top of the feats I reported earlier. It's been a slack day.

Last night I also achieved a good, long night's sleep which I think might have helped bring my blood pressure down to a very satisfactory level after it had been running a tad higher than target for 2 or 3 days. I'm noticing what looks like a strong correlation between how much sleep I get and my blood pressure.

I hung my clothes outside on three clothes lines in the backyard.

Today is a beautiful, sunny day in Portland.
