I'm holding back because I would only alienate people if I were honest. I think that's the main reason why I don't feel at home here either. After you've crossed a certain line, you're just lost, and it's no longer appropriate or helpful to reach out to other people. You either make it on your own, or you don't make it at all.

I could go to bed, or I could watch another show. I'd probably start falling asleep halfway through, and it would be a struggle to brush and floss... I guess I'll go to bed, then.

My apartment almost got flooded last night from the heavy rain... I'm thinking I'm rather pleased it didn't. I went out this morning and the water marks surrounding the building showed the water reached just under the lip of the door.

When I chose this place, the landlord apparently had a surge of memory strike just after I signed the lease and was handed the keys, that the place is below the flood plane by a foot or so. I forgot to mention after he said that, that if this place floods, I'll be long gone >_>
