i told my parents i was moving out today. the only way it could have gone worse was if they had beat me. they said i was taking money from the poor, that i was a dole bludger, that i was "irrespectable", dishonest and that i had no feelings or brains. they were horrified at the thought of me moving into an area with poor black people. they said not to bother saying bye. they said if i stepped out of the door i could never come back. i did. most of my books were there and my dirt and my fucha. my sisters were sad including my little baby sister. what if she grows up and i never see it happen? i love her more than anything else in the whole world. i cant not see her again. i love her to bits.

They do, I was just having a bad English day yesterday and decided to quit before I made it worse.

I have followed your posts for a while now.

Honestly, from the sounds of it, I think you have made the best decision you can for yourself right now. This is your life, and you have to make the decisions that are right for you. Perhaps later they will realise that can't force their expectations of how you should live on you, but they will never have the opportunity to realise that if you don't leave. And if they never come to that realisation, then it is a good thing you got out now rather than later.

Be strong compañera and good luck *hugs*

Today was dull and when the Internet connection worked, I was unable to print, and when the printer worked, the Internet connection failed.

Test, test, scholarship applications, homework, and my printer can't print either, at least from my laptop.

Life sucks every imaginable kind of s**t and then, after suffering every f**king day of your withering life, you die. That's the tame version.

I had this conversation with a friend:

Her: OH MY GOSH, IT'S SUCH A NICE DAY, ISN'T IT?
Me: -looks at the sky- Mhmm. (thinks: I guess it's pretty sunny)
Her: Why aren't you smiling?? How can you NOT smile on a day like this?
Me: There's not much to smile about.
Her: Yes, there is! The weather! You know, you've gotta start being happy about all the small things in life.

Later:
Me: Wait, a minute, I don't get your logic. You're telling me to be happy about the small things, yet last year, when I was happy about the smallest things, you treated me like a total idiot! (thinks: And you STILL do when that happens!)
Her: That's because the things you were happy about weren't NORMAL!

There's that word again. :?

MY DONKEY-

everyone's got a donkey all their own-
no matter if one is supine or prone.
stand with back to mirror, with 'nother mirror in hand,
and you'll see straightaway, your donkey behind your gland.
though a few are quiet, most bray and sometimes stink-
but be glad you got one, 'else you couldn't sit, methinks.

[hey, at least it was relatively clean :) ]

what works for me, is a self-hypnotic suggestion that i will have good dreams. i haven't had a real sweaty frightful nightmare in ages due to this, i believe. if i am feeling restless, i will either get up after a half hour of non-sleep and go do something boring for an hour, or i will intensely fantasize about things i most cherish. one or the other will be useful. good luck. :)

I never feel able to get up again because of my routine  but I will try and think of pleasant things and try and look into self hypnosis more, I do some relaxtion most days which helps a little aswell I think. Thankyou :)
