So, I've got some good news to share.
There's this programme, Breakthroughs in Learning [programme as in neuro-developmental], which I've been working on for nine and a half years [though I haven't actually done much of it since June because of being busy and moving and stuff].
When I first started, a lot of the scores were anywhere from 2-4, [Problem-Low Average], though a couple were already in the gifted range. Now, according to the retesting I did recently, a lot of them that were around 5 or so suddenly shot up into the 6-8 range.
I've pretty much graduated, and now out of 27 categories, only three are below average [one of which really doesn't matter, so it's technically two], and a lot of them are in superior or gifted ranges. Barely anyone has ever had such scores before.
But I don't know how I want to celebrate, and I don't know what special treat to ask for.
Congrats, Kura! So, these are adaptive behaviour skills? Can you give some examples of the categories?
Off the top of my head, there's short term memory, long term memory, memory storage, memory retrieval, number and letter comprehension, comprehension of patterns between words, auditory memory, visual memory, eye tracking, hand and eye coordination, and a whole lot more.
When I first started it, I was a mess, and could not function well at all.
I've been doing it for almost half my life now, and I'm so glad to be done with it.
