My first thought when I heard about it was "cool!"
Then I thought "what if it leaked, then exploded and you had a tonne of water and glass crash down on you with sharks and stingrays?"

Right?? I always worry about that too - btw I wish I cd share with u guys the pictures of him at the aquarium last year.
When he was 5.

He was in deep awe and wonderment and it was so obvious on his face, his mouth was like -jaw dropped open- and his eyes were like 8O 8O
Looked so cute and beautiful

The first tym he went (4 years old) with the class, he was crying the whole time.

Imagine working at the aquarium .
Imagine if your whole career was working at the zoo or aquarium. That would be so interesting and intense. I sm sure a lot of hard work goes into maintaining the area and the animals.

This is an extremely well-organized, concise, and helpful article which I think is particularly useful for those with ASD.
http://spartanlifecoach.com/wp-content/ ... 018-V4.pdf

The part with the daily checklist is really good. Helps for Self-Regulation .

I TRULY believe even if u don't develop CPTSD from the traumatic life experiences that a vulnerable autistic person can have, in an often ruthless society,

ASD people generally have a lot of overlaps with PTSD symptoms (eg perseversation) just as part of ASD, it just somehow overlaps a lot of traits, so it wd still help

*Anti*pathy: that opposite of desire more commonly known as hatred..something factor that into the apparent rigidity of autistics and 'issues empathizing'.

Someone asked me which is worse, ignorance or apathy? I said I don't know and I don't care.

I once thought I should kill the sexiest man alive but then I realized suicide isn't the answer.

Well, I bumped my freakout thread, now with added constructive criticism of myself. Time to go to sleep instead of being temped by hours of brainless clicking.
