It's been some time since I've put forth a huge amount of time devoted to a particular novel or series, with the exception being 3001:The Final Odyssey


I loved that Clarke series of novels when I was younger and in my teens.

There is a mug in my kitchen (unused) that was given to me on Christmas Day (4 years ago)from my sister, it has

written on it that she loves me for being me. Five days later she cut me completely out of her life. We hadn't even

spoken during those five days. People don't mean a f**k**g word they say (or write on a mug).

so am i just supposed to completely disregard every positive thing anyone says to me?

They have to show love too, words by themselves mean nothing
And I don't mean showing love to another as in all the romantic stuff, that can be very superficial and selfish too
It's how they care for you on a deeper level and think of you beyond themselves
