I didn't bother checking my phone for texts from Nate today in case it was another "how you doin' sexy?" message. Turns out he was in town and wanted to meet for coffee. Oh well. Spending the day frumpy and unshowered, I wasn't exactly ready to scoot out the door with minimal notice. He's probably gone now cause he think I'm a flake.

I put on my favourite music channel, and went to make toast and tea. When I came back, there was a video on, but after that it went onto one of those teleshopping infomercial things about skin care products that annoyed me. I changed the channel, but kept looking back but it was still on.

I hereby make it official that 21st of April is "Smack your Parent / Guardian over the back of the head Day".

Cause goddamn it, some of them badly need it.

I tried on shorts and based on the sizing of the ones I tried on I got a different style without trying them on. They are too tight. :(
They fit but they emphasize my butt too much and it feels like the seam is trying to go in the crack. I do not want emphasis on my butt.

Now I'm going to have to go back and exchange them or more accurately nag my mother into going with me to do the returning and so I can try on bigger pairs. I hate trying clothes on, especially in places that make you ask to try things on.

If I do manage to get them exchanged for bigger I think I'll like them. They go down to my knee and mostly cover my knees and have lots of pockets. It has been many years since I've worn shorts.

First of all, Insomnia.

Secondly, when I was driving my bike today, the brake cable snapped. Thankfully I noticed before I needed to brake, otherwise that could have been interesting. Time to get down with the grease and fixy-fixy.

Went out for lunch by myself. Kept running into people I know and felt socially awkward. Should have just stayed home to eat lunch by myself.

My mom wasn't in a very good mood today. I think working the long shift takes its toll on her.

Feeling sad about life again, I don't care what people say but I still feel like a loser, really, and a really big one at that.

I feel like my (metaphorical) back will break from all of the things I (metephorically) am carrying.
I wish I had a little bit of help on occasion.
