I can't have tomatoes too often for the same reason.

At this rate, I'll barely be able to eat anything.

^ I feel a bit like that.

No grains, no dairy (I LOVE cheese), no sugar, no processed food, no starchy vegetables, etc.

No bacon

No gluten, no cow dairy, no sugary chocolate, no candy, no meat--these I'm fine with.

But tomatoes, potatoes, peanut butter, and bananas are still some of my favourite things to eat...

I thought my life was over when I gave up booze and fags.

....... Yeah it was actually. I have been depressed since.

I'd be uber depressed if I didn't drink.
Smoking used to help a lot with anxiety.
But they're bad for you.
So's depression and anxiety.
It all depends on what you think will kill you first.

^^Aw thanks babe, very much appreciated, Kura.

My dog is cuddled up with an empty houmous pot - it is her property now and she will make sure it stays that way.

I think Mr Raleigh needs the hug more than me - I couldn't imagine having to give up so much stuff and can understand why he falls off the wagon with some things.

Makes me shudder.

Well, it's all an experiment really, but I seem to be doing ok on it so I try my best.

I'm also on some lovely :eew: supplements.
Spirulina
Rhodiola
Chinese mushroom complex :eew: (my Chinese herbalist is pure evil)
Magnesium
And the list goes on....

^ haven't tried that yet, but I'll add it to my list of disgusting things to eat/drink before I die.

I had dandelion root coffee once, that was so bad I spat it out.

Wow. Commitment. Actually I use the Rhodiala root as well. It's supposed to be a good adaptogen, IDK if it helps. But I noticed my balding patch from pregnancy almost 7 years ago grew in since I started taking it.

My mom arrived today to visit us, she hasn't been here in months. As usual she didn't bother visiting me, went straight to my brothers and sister's place. I know she has jet lag but I bet 2.7 million dollars that she won't bother to visit us for at least 7 days from now. It's funny once on facebook she posted a picture of someone on a motorcycle on the highway with the caption 'When grandma hears her grandchild is sick'

Funny thing is just a few weeks prior to her posting that, my son had had pneumonia and was hospitalized, she didn't visit once. Nor did she visit many other times he was sick, or all of us were sick.

She didn't even come over to babysit when Ex H refused to babysit the younger so I could take my elder son to emergency. She knew what was going on and it was a 50 minute drive.

I'm supposed to emphasize because 'she has Aspergers too' according to my sister. (nOT diagnosed, she just is guessing). So? I have ASD and I always go to visit when my kid doesn't hav etherapy.

Yeah Iodine is good but apparently it is a risky supplement for those prone to a certain thyroid condition. I guess if your herbalist or Dr approves..
