I got coins!

My Indian Head Penny was made in 1900

Wow.
Another thing we have in common. I used to be obsessed with coin collecting (till we moved and my dad just got rid of it somehow) !
My mom has a few huge stamp collection books from her childhood that she gave to my cousin (why not me?!) who is my age (it wasn’t about me not being born yet or something) , and also a coin collection album (she slid it into plastic slots in the album)
It’s fun to see the new commemorative coins n stamps that come out these days. They are often very beautiful
Honestly my interest isn't really in collecting coins, I just like collecting all sorts of odd things. Also these old pennies are made of real copper and I believe that a true lucky penny has to be real copper.
Yes I collect lucky charms. I also have a real four leaf clover sealed in acrylic.
Others coins I have (that aren't really that special) are a Hawaii US Quarter (I kept it because of my Hawaiian ancestry), some money from the Bahamas that my sister gave me from her college trip, and some fake medieval coins I bought from renaissance fair.
I also used to have a fake Chinese coin, an old rusty mardi gras coin from 1969 I found in the backyard, a Japanese 10 yen coin, some new pennies from the UK, Canadian coins, a Mexican coin, a Hong Kong coin, a Netherlands coin, some Euro coins, and a Susan B. Anthony coin and Sacagawea Gold Dollar (I gave both to my mama).
I wish I still had them.
