For me, I kinda cheated, as I already purchased some gift cards for my members pertaining to Amazon, as I feel that doing such allows greater freedom of what they want to buy as, never is it easy to buy things for my sister,niece,brother-in-law

Yeah, I've not purchased anything from Amazon since 2006, yeah it's been a long time as, whenever I bought something for myself, my sister would always notify my mother of such.Honestly, I'm 45 years old, and don't need someone to notify my mom whenever I've bought something, how silly that is.The good thing is that she does not do that anymore but, for decades she did it on a constant basis making it where I felt guilty about buying something for myself.

^ That's a bit weird of your sister to do that but it takes all sorts in this world.

Internet Christmas shopping has taken a lot of stress out shopping for me although I do like to go into town even though it can be stressful.

That was years ago, nowadays she does not do that..

I rarely enjoy doing a great deal of shopping as, I'm not fond of the weird people you come across during such times, and this does not relate to holidays either.

A friend of mine has a son with FOUR long lists of foods he cannot have (3 different hereditary diseases and one list of allergens). He has Cerebral palsy, Severe Autism, and one of his diseases is the same one my son has. Except his is the most extreme difficult to manage kind.

Anyway he is basically on a single formula by Nestle Called Suplena (not the carb steady one, the other one which is rarer and harder to get). Due to Factory contamination in October, there was a massive recall and the ones she had alreafy ordered were taken back.

They were promised it by November, now it's December still no pharmacy, shop or location carries it. USA nestle refuses to ship THEIR ones to Canada (which is inhumane in my opinion ESPECIALLY because NESTLE was at fault causing this emergency). Canada Nestle said they wd hsave it by this week, still don't. Now they're saying MAYBE January.
The kid is barely able to eat (he is just a milli-step above my son in terms of ability to eat). EG He cannot chew.

She has a very tiny list of foods she is allowed to give him but it doesn't compensate for the massive amounts of calories that Suplena formula gave him.

Basically Nestle has no backup plan and no other company makes it and this lady has nowhere to go because USA nestle is a bunch of sick disgusting ppl sticking to their arbitrary rules that should be removed for this emergency life threatening situation..

ONLY people carrying it is Amazon, and I dare anyone to check the prices. Going up to 500 dollars, and shipping is not guaranteed till four weeks (by which time the factory may have the Suplena back in stock).

I've asked XH to purchase on my behalf and remove it from child support. But if it's coming FOUR WEEKS from now, what's the point? The only point is that maybe if in a month Nestle again fails her and again fails to get it ready she will have a supply.

I hate Nestle. Evil company monopolizing and risking people's lives. The USA nestle thing is disgusting. I hate people.

Kid is losing weight, can die, we checked and Pediasure seemed to be an adequate (Much lower calorie and nutrient ) substitute- however now his Doctor has stated that pediasure is actually harmful for one of his diseases (life threatening disease) so he will have to come in for regular checkups and to minimize that.

Basically there is no other solution besides the 500 dollar amazon thing, and even that isn't guaranteed, and the kid is basically left to starve by Nestle. THEY wouldn't care. Their CEO is probably vacationing somewhere while molesting kids, because that's what all these Elite type ppl are into. The lawyers who made the arbitrary stupid laws about not shipping to canaada are probably with him, or busy ruining ppl's lives in other ways and calling it 'work'

The world is run by sick, disgusting, heartless people who have starved their souls and consciences and the burden and onus is on the weakest most vulnerable people like Special needs parents who already work multiple jobs (like this lady I am talking about) to try and give their kids basic amenities.

Wow the five hundred dollar can was sold out now (shows how desperate ppl are for this formula), and the carb steady ones available on amazon are forbidden to him due to his specific situation

We found yet another US stockist's number called and they are willing to ship and make an exception! Hopefully. Let's see. She's on the phone right now.

^ This reminds me of the 2008 Chinese milk scandal , when baby formula was being exchanged for ridiculous amounts.

The lady messaged me!

She said that Abbott Nutrition (who we called today) has managed to call around and finally found THREE containers of the formula and they are shipping it to her ASAP!! I can't imagine going through that. She was actually sick this week, and I'm sure it was from the stress and worry. Imagine if your child's sole source of nutrition (everything else is like poison for him, or he can barely eat it) is recalled due to contamination...for so long (since October) and you see him losing weight etc. And you risk his health giving him other formulas which are actually ill-suited to his needs due to risk of organ failure.

I'm so happy about this.

I sent that image off to a lab who used sophisticated software to make the image clearer for you.
