I went out to eat for dinner and just came back.

My school doesn't let us take AP classes until our sophomore year. Is that normal? My school also only lets us take one honors class in our freshman year (in English, but you can be in a class above your grade level; you just can't be in an honors class).

That's normal. The only AP class offered in sophomore year at my school is AP European History. That's why I had to take AP Psychology that year online. I got a 5 on that AP test.

If you really want to learn something, there's nothing stopping you.

It is possible to take AP exams without taking the classes as well. The College Board almost always provides topic outlines for the exams offered.

I really want to be able to take a psychology class in high school. I joined this health academy thing at my school, and you have to take either psychology or sociology in your junior year, but I wanted to take IB Chemistry in my junior year and then IB Physics in my senior year... :? I'm not even sure if the psychology class counts towards the IB diploma either...

The person in charge said that joining the health academy won't get in our way of getting an IB diploma, but now I'm not so sure...

I guess I'll just ask the lady in charge of it tomorrow.

I was so eager to finally see the doctor on Thursday but now I'm just really scared and paranoid. All these feelings are rushing into my head again, they are violent and paranoid ones. Stuff I know won't happen but it feels real. I feel like he's going to mock me and tell me to stop wasting his time.

Kinda like sedated? I'm utterly sedated at this point (just seeing what it's like to feel...nothing; too bad I do still feel a little anxiety, or perhaps more than a little), but I can still type, think (albeit sleepy), play games (multiplayer too, though I kinda couldn't be bothered playing as a team being this sedated).

Surely Seroquel + Valium [within outlined limits] would equate to a greater loss of cognitive function than some booze?

As an aside, booze doesn't make me feel anything other than a little sedated in rather large amounts.

My brain is odd.

Send me some Seroquel and Valium in the mail and I'll tell you if it's any different to being drunk.

Hi people. Just back from school. 31 days on the countdown for BCT, so albirea, I know how you feel. Really, you're lucky. My mom threatened to commit suicide if I don't get into the best high school for girls in this country. 8O PR99 that is, in a country whose average kids score in that range for PISA.
The school, Taipei municipal first girls' high school, has a very unique green uniform. Check this out. Link...TFG homepage.

Mine didn't take me seriously. He diagnosed me but didn't give me that piece of paper. I wonder......

I got my baby Lapras! :D

The birth was swift and she hatched well. She was delivered just before I went to work this morning, and hatched a mere minute later.
