I went to my 1 st ASD Meet Up I thought the people their where just fine . I nearly didn't go for 3 reasons :

1. If theirs no intention whats the point of even turning up meh something to do I suppose.

2. I wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of another aspie I'm very unsociable yet we have some aspies in my local area who are very very sociable one who confirmed my suspicions being sociable/ wanting to meet new people had become one of his AS obsessions! though I shouldn't worry to much I'm not sure why anyone would want to befriend me I stand by the claim that I have nothing and have the George Costanza shirt to prove it (no education , little money, humourless etc etc) though I retract my :oops: your all annoying over educated overachievers sorry. I was going to post a pic of said shirt ( a few Seinfeld fans here ) though I wont it looks like I had a run in with Bill Clinton (always colourfast your shirts) even with "safe"products like oxygen bleach. It looks like I'll have to use it as a house/ work shirt .

3. At the risk of repeating myself last time I promise :oops: I had a run in with aspie woman here who claimed the men at the Meet Ups either irritated her OR aroused her self pity if she where to meet me I'd probably do both. I cut an paste her thoughts on an NT website and the NT was :lol: and said stuff people who have problems with aspies' indeed stuff em. I only brought it up because WP/asperges was being discussed apparently she suspected her primary schooled aged son of having AS even though he was really really popular. I told her theirs no way his AS theirs no such thing as really popular adolescent Aspies and if they exist (do they??) you could probably count all the worlds popular adolescent aspies on one hand yes?
