i don't believe paul hellyer [canada's former minister of defense ] is senile, and he wrote a book, "UFOs are as real as the airplanes flying overhead."

Paul Hellyer, the prime minister of Grenada, Jimmy Carter and the governor of Arizona are among political leaders who attest to seeing UFOs.

One of the most interesting is former UN secretary general Javier perez de cuellar was being chauffered in NY when he swore he saw a woman being levitated or lifted into what appeared to be a disc like object hovering over an apartment building. What was coincidental was the same sighting was reported by two businessmen independently and the woman herself told her psychiatrist it happened.

Fair enough, although visual hallucinations are more likely than distorted thoughts.

If an 87 yr old man has dementia its very unlikely he will confabulate such a complex narrative out of the blue as that requires considerable cognitive activity which in theory is unlikely because he has dementia.

I never said he did, in fact I said the opposite - that this is not his unique idea and the first time I heard of the "Galactic Federation" was in 2016

He's an old man, he heard about this somewhere. As an old man maybe losing a bit of his discernment he liked the idea and decided to speak about it in a public forum.

My understanding is that most abductees don't remember their experiences other than lost time. In her case she remembers it all.

The third alternative is like Barney and Betty Hill back in 1961 who were put through regression hypnosis and relived their experience. Barney was so impacted his health never recovered and he died of stress related illness in 1969.
