I think he left but I do not understand why exactly. Maybe he felt offended. There was something going on in an other thread and.... ?

Maybe he's (a bit too) proud. I know this myself, feeling offended or treated unfair (imo), then making a decision to leave or to stick determined with my opinion and.... ?

I hope he returns soon, I think he's a kind bloke and I always liked reading his posts. But I have a sense he won't. Don't know.

What to do? If it's his choice to stay away.... I'll respect that but the reason.... ?
Maybe, don't know if it makes any difference, I'll PM him if he stays silent. There's an other thread about who do you consider a friend here and I could make a list but what Sunshower said there I agree with. You tend to leave someone out and maybe some folks feel offended or left out but he would be on it. I hope people sense by my reactions or replies to them who I like a bit more. And like I said in that thread I wish not to have any antipathos against anyone here.

i have a problem with an adage.


an apple a day amounts to more than 36,000 apples if you live to 100.

how are you going to deal with that many apples when you are 100?

also, if the apples keep the doctors away, then how will they get prompt treatment in a medical emergency?.
apples seem hazardous and should be banned.

Yeah that's a good point sunshower makes. I also wanted to post in that thread and specify certain members, however I decided not to, for the same reason.

It's a pity if he did decide to leave...

The other day I heard a song which made no sense. It was A Thousand Miles by Vanessa Carlton.
"If I could fall into the sky, do you think time would pass me by?"
If she meant flying in an airplane, no, although she might pass through different time zones. If she meant sky diving or bunjy jumping or some other extreme sport, then her cord could snap or the parachute may not deploy. So in a manner of speaking, time would pass her by after that.
"Cuz you know I'd walk a thousand miles if I could just see you tonight."
That's gonna take more than one night, assuming the guy she wants to see is a thousand miles away. Did she mean to see him first and walk a thousand miles later? The Proclaimers I think were the group who wrote a song called I Would Walk 500 Miles but with no time limit. Just borred and rambling...

Well actually there are theories about the passing of time being different the farther you get into space away from the planet.

Maybe that's what she meant.
