Vector 2131 reporting an error. Danger.

Lunchtime is on my mind, but it's still several hours away.

Nothing, really.

I've done everything I possibly can to find a place here with no success. Unless a suitable apartment falls figuratively out of the sky and into my lap, I'm heading back to California Tuesday afternoon, which, the thought isn't particularly thrilling. At least I can't say I've failed as I've done everything within my power to attempt to achieve success while here.

I really don't understand logic. It goes way over my head. There, I've said it.

Should I get a 413 tattoo?

I am thinking about ordering a set of flat wound strings to try out on my guitar when I get back to my father's place.

It seems the smallest set is very close to the gauge of regular round wound strings I already use, but a few of the strings are .02mm thicker in diameter. I'm wondering if they'll be too wide for the nut... I don't wish to file the nut for such an experiment.

For the most part, their benefits of receiving a more natural sound that's more true to the natural voice of the instrument, and reducing sustain due to the different type of wrap sounds rather nice. I feel indifferent toward them being smooth and therefore more gentle on the fingers and also having less finger noise. Though, it's also said that they last longer before they need changing and that sounds quite nice.

They're mostly for jazz, but I think they could potentially be rather great with playing classical influenced styles due to the reduced sustain allowing more notes be played before the signal simply becomes noise... That, and I also would like to learn to play some Jazz.

Thinking back to last summer, and what was said, and how I took things the wrong way. Even if it was just barely implied, I shouldn't obsess over it. Wanting that from someone to the point of insanity is not helpful. Makes the events since then seem a little different.
