Even 2 was getting bad but I figure if I enjoy it it's good for me.
Not seen the animated series.
Not so much Murphys death, though there's a few flinches for me there or eye shielding. More the horrible surgery and a couple of baddy deaths. Blades etc are the worst, guns killing is normally not so bad.thanks for the offer, I'll find them though. Bet they're all online too.

I think frank Miller did a robo vs terminator comic too, someone did anyway. He definitely did a robo comic.

I asked if you had seen the live action series.

Don't get me wrong, the second and third movies are alright. Well worth watching and I do like them.

Agreedededed.

I just found how he was on his knees with no way out and they just took their sweet time shooting off his limbs before whacking the bullet through his head. And when he had his hand blown off at first, he just looked at it like he was just shocked before the pain kicked in.

I don't remember any graphic surgery scenes. Just a first person view from his eyes that kept being turned off and switched back on again at various points through the process.

Way ahead of ya lol it's there or some of it.
Think there's a little of the surgery in directors cut and a couple of surgeries in 2.
Yea Murphy's death was perhaps the meanest. Thanks for the vivid description lol can see it all now :p s'alright though with that particular scene.

Also, my subscriptions just updated with 6... 6!! ! Six Jackie chan movies I've not seen before.. Well, maybe one if the title is a mistranslation lol
Might be dithering for the rest of the evening.

Me, love all kinds of wordplay & generally playing with words.. Don't think I'm very good at coming up with puns but will usually use them if any occur to me.

Have been thinking of a wordy game thread for a few Weeks but can't quite decide and not sure either idea would work anyway.
One was to talk entirely in quotes but that'd be hard, ones was just a "talk in riddles" thing and last one was to try to talk in accents, with phonetic spelling and such..

Kinda thinking also of a thread where posters assume a fictional, stylised identity and post in that style..

One day maybe lol

Ooooh I'm intrigued. I must only have the bog standard version then. And it's on crackly VHS.

Sorry if I was too graphic for you there. Hope I didn't damage you.

To be honest I'm not even sure if I've seen 6b Jackie Chan movies.

By the way just realised I have Unleashed recorded on my Skybox. Ever seen it? Seems very much like it would be your sort of thing.

I used to have a jar full of half p's. You used to be able to get two half pence sweets for a penny, and now I don't even know if you can get penny chews.

Do you remember mojos - little chewy sweets, three for a penny?
You can still get sweeties like black jacks and fruit salads, I saw them in Lidls the other week. And those foam shrimps and bananas too...
