You know you are in the domain of a sucky archer when you go for a walk in the woods and find an arrow stuck in a tree, halfway up its trunk.

I have no idea how it got there, but there it is (it was mine).

(This was several years ago, but it always makes me laugh.)

Wouldn't it be cool to make a handgun that'd break the bones in your hand if you fired it? Probably not possible, as your fingers would give way and the firearm would take the path of least resistance, which would be over your head if your arm didn't give way (which it would). If your arm gave way but not your fingers, the muzzle would probably hit you in the head, which would be more dangerous than intended.

Seems kinda fitting in a way, having something hurt you that'd intend far more hurt on the other end.
