I'm the one who looks Asian. Stereotypically Asian, because apparently all Asians are supposed to be Chinese.

I think I do look Asian, just not... stereotypically Asian.

I feel racist too. The letter "A" looks yellow to me, so whenever I see the word "Asian", I see yellow.
It's also one of the reasons why I spell grey "grey" and not "gray", because the "e" actually makes the word look grey, but the letter "a" makes it look yellow...

Once, I had to pause a while when doing a math problem because I associated the number 6 with red and 4 with yellow, but the word problem included something about 6 yellow shirts and 4 red shirts.

Or maybe it's because of the associations we make with sounds and letters. "Grey" looks more resigned and depressed than "gray" because of the shape of your mouth when you pronounce a short "e" vs. when you pronounce a long "a". It takes less effort to pronounce a short "e" as in "grey", so we automatically associate that lack of effort with the hopeless color of grey/gray.
