Well, I surely hope the cake isn't a lie.
... What does that phrase mean anyway? "The cake is a lie!" I've read the page about it on TVTropes, but I'm not sure if that's what people usually mean when they say the cake is a lie.

And I knew everyone that was going, so it wasn't very awkward.
I got to bounce on trampolines in a gigantic room, and there were even a few on the walls. I was the only one who could bounce off of them, because everyone else except this one girl was completely out of shape.
