We had three skylights in our house when we bought it. Because they leaked in the winter, we actually had them removed. The contractor who removed them said that unless a person lived in an arid climate, it's not a question of "if" skylights will leak, it's a question of "when". That was certainly the case for us.

Do you like the movie Harold and Maude?
