I gave myself sort of a crude version of a pedicure last night.

I've never had a pedicure.

Same question.

No. We only went to the vet when our animals were ill.

Do you find you have to examine your socks to make sure there are no little bits before putting them on?

Ha! I'm psychic! 8)

My last one was around Christmas. I prefer just doing my own though.

I used to take my ex for pedis and he loved to be pampered by the pretty ladies. He liked the paraffin wax.

Yes -- I just threw out some socks yesterday for that reason. I'm very picky about socks.

Where would you live in the world, if you could relocate anywhere for free?

I would go somewhere in a nice area of North Wales.

Anywhere with access to clean water food and all of that. Necessities for life.
I think my problems are intrinsic to me and any society so it wouldn't matter how a place seems those will always come up.

Same Q
KraftieKortie your new picture is awesome. Thumbs up

He's such a handsome devil! ^

I would live in Cumbria or Barra.

When you were young, did you want to grow up and have children?

Did not think about it. Never occurred to me until age 20 when married

Same Q

Thanks, Blooie!

When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up---BADLY! I've always had a slight desire to have children, and I sort of regret not having had a kid. But the desire for kids was never acute with me.

Same question.

When I played that Fortune Teller game with the folded paper, I always wanted two girls and a boy.

I wanted a daughter named Kimberley. I named all my dolls Amy.

When you were young did you want to grow up and get married?

I thought marriage was inevitable. The desire to get married was never very great.

When you were young, did you listen to the radio a lot? (a twist on a Carpenter's song with the lyrics: "When I was young, I would listen to the ray-dio."

The first album I ever bought was a compilation of the Carpenter's greatest hits. Along with a record of Laurel and Hardy comedy skits.

I remember being afraid to get married, because I heard that husbands usually die before their wives. I didn't know what to do with a dead body and I was scared I'd be charged with murder if he was found dead in my house.

True story.

Yes I loved listening to the radio. My mother had her radio station playing all day as she cleaned. I had my own little radio next to my bed for falling asleep.

same question

I used to listen to WABC AM all the time on my transistor radio. I listened to the Countdown of the Top 100 songs from 1968 and 1969. I wasn't so interested by 1970, though the interest hasn't totally faded.

Have you ever used a manual typewriter?

Of course! I still own one. I used typewriters all through University. I had an electric one by the time I graduated, but I mostly used manual.

I learned on my mother's electric typewriter when I was 11 years old. But I learned how to use a manual typewriter, too....and did pretty well on them.

Have you ever rented a typewriter? (I did...in 1986).

Good thing you hadn't (I hope) heard of Sati, then. There are some movies on it, too, and what happened if the widow refuses to do it. Aishwarya Rai, who is gifted at everything, played a part with such a scenario.
