I was having lots of fun on animal crossing, but the batteries died, and it turns out that we don't have any spare ones. And if you don't save your game you get a mole who bothers you for about half an hour and ofcourse you lose all your progress :x

When I got off the bus today, there was a lot of hail and I had to walk through it (Some of it backwards) to get back to my house.

B9,

i have not met my neighbours yet. i have never in my life met any neighbours that i lived "next door" to.
i am not a friendly person in the sense that i make an effort to reach out to people. i am always solitary, and if i see a neighbour, i generally ignore them because i have nothing to say or give to them. i find that if i speak to people i do not know who did not speak to me first, i get a confused and puzzled response from them. i am not adept at communicating with people, and they usually opt out of a conversation with me.

"farmers markets" ?---- that is an idea. i will now search for "farmers markets" and see what i find. i can not ask people who sell eggs where to buy better eggs (it is insulting to them), and i can not just accost people in the street and canvass them as to where the freshest eggs are available because they usually buy their eggs from supermarkets like everyone else, and they would not have a clue.

lucky you. did you find them as a result of being gregarious? i can not easily intermingle with people and i find it difficult to integrate and benefit from the information that results from social integration.

I know it's a pain in the butt to tell an aspie to have to talk to people, but you often find the farming communities are loosely organized but know each other fairly well, hence talking is generally the way you find out about these things.

that is correct if i can only find the right people to talk to. how do i discern who they are? they do not have a tattoo that says "i know people who you would like to know" written on their shoes (the place i look when talking to people).

i will follow up on the term "farmers markets", and that is a new avenue of investigation for me, and thank you for your reply.

something that made me truly unhappy today (and yesterday) is the fact that i have said goodbye to my "doomed" mercedes 560 sel.

i should not have let it go. i had to remove all my vehicles from the driveway of the place i was renting before i bought this house (truck and 2 cars). they want no trace of me left behind as i exit the apartment that i have occupied for 2 years since the government "resumed" my other house.

in 2010, i was living in a house that i 100% owned, and the council (local government) resumed it because they were going to build a road that was going to go through my house. they paid me pittance for my house ($450,000) and i had to move out (even though it was MY house).

i then found a place nearby to rent (i wanted to be near my possums and other unofficial pets), and eventually i saw that the road was not going to be built due to budget restrictions, but the council at that time owned my house, and they sold it to another person for $710,000 which was what it was realistically worth (to a chinese investor of all people). i was very angry but all fires eventually go out.

i then lived in an apartment with a rent of $430 per week, and i took all my vehicles with me to the new address.

when i told the real estate agent i had bought a house and intended to leave the apartment, the owner became belligerent and told me to get everything i owned off the property.

at that time, my mercedes motor car had a transmission problem, and i bought another car to ferry me about while i was going to find out how much it would cost to fix the mercedes.

i was told that it would be at least $17,000 to fix the transmission so i decided (upon the advice of the people i know) to send it to the wreckers, because no one wants that style of mercedes any more, so it has no resale value, and also i knew that even if i did get it fixed, that is was horrid in it's fuel consumption. it went for 50km on $20 worth of fuel at the time. it should be more efficient than that, but it may cost thousands to find out what is the reason it is so inefficient.

it is 140km from my house where i live now to the old apartment, so towing it here would have cost more than a thousand dollars anyway, and even if i did get it fixed, i would now probably never use it considering i have a little energy efficient car that is now my usual car ($20 => 200 km).

so i hastily decided i would send it to the wreckers because it was an impediment to my rapid relocation to my new house, and as i saw it being taken away, i had a change of heart and i wanted to keep it.

i felt very sad when i saw my mercedes being trucked away, because i know it will be squashed in a machine and obliterated,

i want it back!! ! i rang the wreckers today and they told me that they did not have any information on the car.

surely the wreckers would have seen that the car is not worthy of being wrecked, and hopefully they rebirthed it and it will live on, but sadly i think it will be sqashed.

i have to move on.

it was a brilliant car and it served me well. i beat everyone who ever challenged me to a race in it, and it was nice and warm inside and it shielded me from the rain, but i sent it to it's grave without much thought because i was in a hurry. i feel what maybe described as guilt for condemning it to death when i actually could have saved it.

anyway here are 3 pics of my darling blue mercedes being taken away to be crushed (you may notice the extreme traffic on the road out the front of my old apartment which i am, glad to be rid of).

i want to get my mercedes back because i have ample room to store it in my new yard (that i own).

Image
there it is being taken away after i sold it to the wreckers.

and the final goodbye as i saw it enter the stream of traffic Image

and this is my last vision of my darling car.
i want it back. i will ring them tomorrow and offer to buy it back if it is not already crushed.

please do not let it be crushed yet................

My bf doesn't believe that he ignores talks right through me in conversations when I say something. He's never heard it before he says. If it isn't true what I say, how is it then possible that I had a lot of enjoyable conversations today with other people where everyone got a chance to speak, no one got ignored and I didn't feel the least of annoyance?

I told my landlord not to come to my apartment tomorrow and he said the electrician and him probably would, and in the morning most likely. Being that I haven't had a good night's sleep in a week, I suddenly wanted to kill him. And then I had a complete meltdown (after I left him and went into my apartment) which made me feel worthless and immature.

I understand how you feel. A while before I moved my landlord was working on my apartment so much but it was still a dump and the roof leaked and when we moved out we didn't have reliable heat.

It bothered me so much having them there and I had so much anxiety. Him doing a lot of work in my bedroom made it even worse.

Now I've been living in my new place for 5 months and my landlord has not set foot in my apartment since the day I moved in and he hooked up the stove. It's a big relief not having my territory invaded.

That sounds like it was horrible.

My landlords are selling the apartment building, so they've been doing inspections and "repairs" and showings to potential buyers. The worst part is that they seem to have no concern for state law, as they have violated my privacy rights as a tenant more than once, especially what he tried to do yesterday, which was call two hours in advance saying he was coming over. My mom and I locked ourselves in our rooms and didn't answer the door. I seriously wish I had the nerve to call the police. He didn't come in, thankfully. But, he does not have my permission to come in tomorrow and he will. It's not an emergency, and I didn't get the proper amount of notice. I wish my anxiety didn't prevent me from making phonecalls to protect my rights.

I'm glad you found an apartment where the landlord doesn't constantly invade your space. Hope they stay away completely for you, except when they're needed, of course. :)

My landlord was selling the house too. We didn't find out right away but when he started wanting to fix lots of things, some of which we never even complained about, we knew something was up. I found out he was selling when he called and gave a 1 hour notice that someone was coming to inspect the house.

My current landlord doesn't bother us. When we moved in he told us it's our place and he would never come in without advance notice unless it was a real emergency, like a pipe breaking and flooding out my downstairs neighbor. I even remember him saying "it's your place, you can do whatever you want" which isn't the best thing to say to someone that takes things literally (what if I wanted to run a meth lab and own a dozen vicious pit bulls?). I know he doesn't care if I decide to get a cat or if I paint my apartment.

My landlord should be happy to have me as a tenant. I once prevented his nearby business from getting burgled by catching a burglar in the act.

Went to Work Program today - scheme for unemployed in UK.

Excuse me while I whine about today...

Firstly the receptionist sent me to the office my advisor normally works from, turns out they moved office so I went in and sat down having a group of women look at me like I was simple-minded and quizzing as to why I was there. Once in the right office they made me waste my time job searching for an hour in their busy office, rather than at home, with a migraine and while being quizzed by my advisor.

My advisor refuses to accept there aren't enough jobs to apply for and insists that there are in fact many jobs available if I only look - he's yet to prove this and this week there were certainly no jobs at all in the area of work they want me to focus on, I did find 7 better jobs instead but this was not good enough. My advisor has yet to ask me what I can/cannot do but sends me emails linking to job adverts claiming this is 'helping' me, these links either don't work or are to unsuitable jobs - apparently it's my responsibility in my spare time to email him explaining why I don't apply to every job, as I didn't do this I was told off.

I was told that this Thursday starts a course I've got to attend twice per week 9am-4pm - this course is mandatory to train us how to job search because they believe we're incapable, despite the fact I used to work in teaching job skills. During this course there will be role-play and according to my advisor despite my problems with AS I have no choice but to participate in this course. I can guarantee I'll have a meltdown if forced to participate, this will knock my confidence even further thus making my problems worse and job search harder.

My advisor insists on invading my personal space, insists that I make eye contact with him, and keeps mispronouncing my name. Today he confronted me saying he believes I have a very negative attitude, that no one else in my position is negative about job searching and that I need to adjust my attitude - his tone is somewhat threatening, remembering that this man can stop my benefits whenever he wants. Obviously my attitude IS negative given as I've been unemployed for over 4 years with no support and no prospects, but my negativity is mostly due to the BS from the job centre and schemes like the Work Program.
