Me, my mum, my dad, my granddad, uncle and some guy I don't know went to MacDonalds. In macdonalds we saw my cousins, nana and auntie walking out of the toilets and they said hello to us. One of my cousins, Keiran, didn't look too happy. Then I found out from my auntie that he had caught a bug and had just been sick. (lovely :x) He of course didn't have anything in macdonalds, just a glass of water. Anyway I had lots of chicken nuggets and some other stuff, and I was full so didn't want a mcflurry and I decided to have a banana milkshake instead. The milkshake was brown and tasted like coffee though. We went back to a house that looked like a bigger version of my granddad's house, and went bed.
Next day the house was different, and I was in a corridor type thing with rooms on each side with walls of glass, and a dark computer room there too. In the glass rooms there lived bonobos, and I had noticed that my cousin Kieran had turned into one (quite a big one with long but thin hair). He was sitting on this ledge type thing, and still wasn't very well so he was sitting hunched with a :( look about him. I was talking to the bonobos in the corridor and looking at them. After a bit Kieran turned back human again, still not recovered from his illness so he was still sluggish and lethargic. He went in the small, dark computer room and stayed there a while, I was nervous about his virus hanging around in the air and contaminating the small space. I planned to sterile the room thoroughly after he left so I didn't catch anything. Then I decided to go and play with the baby bonobos in one of the glass rooms, and there were 4 playing in some kind of basket/box, I picked them up and sat down to start interacting. But suddenly they had turned into a small tub of tiny mice, lots and lots of teeny tiny mice, all pink like they had just been born. I picked up a handful of mice, and they all stuck together, and kicked about like bugs. I kept picking up handfuls of loads of tiny mice, no bigger than 1.5cm. I stopped picking them up because I knew the mice were alive and didn't want to hurt them.

Yet again, another dream where there are bonobos involved. How many of these am I going to have???????

just a thought: mabe bonobos are AS/ASD ppl?!

Is that directed at my dream, auntie? If so, could you elaborate?

yes. no offense, but i got the distinct impression that the male manor character in your dream represented aspects of your father. when you mentioned the male figure's reluctance to submit to your analysis, and his commencement of the guns and shooting, that reinforced that thought in my head. your father [in your dream] subdued what you described as his normal disrespect of you in order that you might have a bit of a heart-to-heart with [an aspect of] him, but the father is reluctant to go all the way towards seeing his son as his equal, and the son realizes this. obviously i am no expert but these things jumped out at me.
freud said "sometimes a cigar is just a cigar" but just the same, guns and cigars [penis symbols] often pop-up in dreams of folk who have unresolved issues between father and son. the symbology is the lower brain's best try at making sense of things sans the input of the frontal lobes which sleep with the rest of the body, via symbolic shorthand.

a dream i had one or two days ago was me trying to get to the library. it was close (like it is in real life too) but in the dream i got stuck in deep deep snow, 10 feet / 3m deep or something!

this morning i felt i got some of what it might mean .. maybe warning me not to get stuck on unprofitable digressions .. like library .. when i need to move (to another apt) .. and i think also saying something of how i avoid real feelings (the cold and snow and stuckness) very easily .. rather than staying real and doing real and important things in the real world ..

Very interesting. I think you are correct about the father connection. Wow... so it's basically something like a battle between me and my dad? Makes sense. Interesting.

Thank you auntie! You're brilliant!

i had what i think of as a "vision" maybe 10 days ago .. brushing my teeth i saw a black labrador (dog) wearing brightly yellow round glasses!

my avatar is supposed to be that bespectacled doggy ... to me it seems to mean how i start to communicate more directly with my "lower me" .. which i think also in my case is similar to my autistic side (having tried (unsuccessfully) to hide my autism for ages) .. maybe now that side can be allowed more room .. hopefully making me more functioning .. active .. happy .. whole .. real .. and no longer a hiding pretend professor lolol ...

i dreamed that i put a few dollars into a slot machine (poker machine) and won a jackpot.

when i pressed "collect" the coins started rushing out of the machine and they quickly filled the metal basin and overflowed onto the floor.

as i was trying to collect them i noticed some arabs that were also picking up my coins and i asked them if they would keep count of the coins they collected from the floor.

after a while there were arabs walking out of the venue where the poker machine was, and they seemed to have their pockets filled with my coins. i yelled at them to come back but they bolted off and i realized they stole money from me.

later, when i got home and in my despair expected to only have a few hundred dollars that i crammed into my pockets from the multi thousand dollar win, i found that my pockets were filled with only plastic drinking straws.

what a rip off.

that was the dream and it was not very imaginative.

I guess you're concerned about your finances, b9. And maybe finding drinking straws at the end is maybe about the fact that scrambling for money isn't all it's cracked up to be. Is it really worth it?

yes i want to keep track of all my money.
money makes the world go 'round.

i know i am materialistic, but other people are beneficiaries of the fact i make money.

i think the dream was about that if i get money by accident, i do not trust it.

i truly am off to sleep now. i feel groggy and dumb.

Fair enough. I have my own biases.

Sleep tight! Or loose, depending on your preference.

Wow auntblabby, I liked reading that interpretation. I never thought milkshake would have to much meaning attached to it
But I just saw my dream as being a mixture of my favourite animals (bonobos), and my fear of illness (my cousin getting sick), and a load of random crap in between.

I often dream that I can fly or have othe special powers. I'd love to have special powers than I could defend myself against everybody that wishes to destroy me.

I dreamed that i was playing online scrabble with a book caricature (Artemis Fowls split personality Orion Fowl), i was doing quite well despite Orion's constant chattering, before i woke up i had just played "Quiz" off of Orion's "qi", it was much more vivid than most of my dreams.

i dreamt that i was in a technical college classroom, where an experiment in sentient produce was taking place- upon a table there was a big metal bowl, into which professors were throwing these weird round intelligent fruits, which were green and similar to japanese pears, but none of 'em had stems. stemless intelligent fruit. these fruits had "facial expressions" and i could tell from their expressions they didn't like being thrown into the bowl, and they would collide at the bottom and "say" OUCH! and would quickly right themselves and climb [roll themselves] up the side to the rim, where they would jockey for position at the prime spots, at quadrants of 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock, and the unlucky stragglers who were too late to make it to those good spots were condemned to swinging back and forth, from rim to rim, until they could dislodge the lucky squatters at the quadrants. there was a lot more to this dream but it largely evaporated upon waking.

A few days ago I had a dream that it was the zombie apolcolipse and we were trapped in my house with a bunch of bloodthirsty zombies waiting outside. For some reason my mom was Kitty from That 70's show and she was acting very nice, which we all thought was weird; then we realized she'd been bit by a zombie. She proceeded to turn into a zombie and that's all I remember.

That made me smile. Weird dream, indeed.

but they were really lovable fruits, you shoulda seen 'em! kids would love 'em. i'd have picked 'em up and cradled 'em and caressed 'em and made 'em feel loved and comfortable, if only i were capable of lucid dreaming. or i would have clobbered those cold-blooded profs who were damaging them by tossing the defenseless fruits into that hard metal bowl in the first place.
