A lot of career type jobs don't offer a choice, they tend to be full time. If I could go back in time I would train in one
of the trades so that I could be self employed and control my own hours. If you are valuable in a field people will
accept you no matter how weird you are, but if you have no special skill you are judged largely on your ability to fit
in. I work 16 hrs a week not because I can't work for more hours but because I can't fit in for more than that
(without going nuts). I use the rest of my time to work on my novel with the hope of eventually writing full time.

Thanks fluffysaurus, as I don't have the many years of experiences some places are looking for, rather only 9 months of lab experience during the time I had acquired my A+ certification.
