Thank you that was my question too and this explained it. I like the way the ones on the ends behaved a little differently to the others.

Not as addictive as the chicken wire, but prettier.

Hope everyone is doing well and all, I feel downhearted as, it seems I'm just not sure if I'll ever become employed, despite have different skills even in on a menial skills, I'm not totally stupid. In fact, I even applied to jobs that hearken by to my days of a stock clerk, though not working the grave yard shift, as that was found to be literally dangerous and a endangerment to my health overall..Anyways, I hope everyone is having a fairly peaceful day overall.. :(

All disabled kids and adults esp the intellectually or otherwise severely disabled ones- shd be given crowns so ppl know straight away that they are worthy and it is not based on ‘function’.

An ugly grey mug sculpted roughly is functional and serves a purpose

A beautiful delicate vase made of hand-blown glass and exquisitely carved—
is not practically useful for rough handling and not functional except as decoration n to lift our spirits with what it carries and looks like. It is fragile and may get broken or stolen but that doesn’t make it less worthy

In fact it is usually more worthy expensive and valued than a regular mug or cup bcuz of how much work went into it n how it reminds us of smthing sublime beyond everyday life

That u
Is what special needs disabled kids do they may not be ‘worthy’ to be ‘mugs’ sitting in an office scamming ppl or being another ‘wheel in the big machine ‘
That doesnt mean they are not to be treasured and protected and valued and cared for

They have the character, talents and gifts to lift the consciousness of humanity to notions of equality, purity, perseverance, patience, joy in beauty and sweet and fun things and simple and deep contentment

I think the flavor "French Vanilla" was a scam invented by clever Frenchmen to dispose of unsellable industrial waste products. "Hey, Francois. Let's ship some of this rancid sugar to America and see if we can get them to buy it. We can label it 'French Vanilla' — haha!" 8)

Don't lose hope dude , it's a numbers game , the more jobs you apply for the more likely you are to get one.

Marknis- are u saying that to me? I dont actually know u in the first place or vice versa so -shrugs- no loss to either side

MY brave son was so amazing today - great communication attempt today! (I say brave bcuz he spent till noon at doctors and dentist, three hour drive there and back, plus waiting time
plus has extreme sensory issues esp regarding mouth so it is even worse of an ordeal)

he communicated that he didnt want to go to his dads tonight

and was so expressive despite not being able to talk
He dvdn shook his head ‘no’ which is a shock as he has only done that a couple times becore in his life- the other times it was barely discernible he put so much effort n still could barely tell

This time he really focused and shook his head no.. then kept trying to say with his eyes, vocalizing and expressions n walking away from stairs pulling me-

- it was so nice as he was actually trying to communicate n he became so happy (beautiful sunny smile) when i correctly interpreted and vocalized what he wanted
Then on speaker i tried to talk to his dad asking to keep him but unfortunately TWO therapists were going there tonight
So I apologized to him like ‘sorry i wd keep u but u have therapist there tonight’ n his dad said ‘yeah’

and immediately he (son) leaned over to the phone (which was on speaker) and vocalized a long complaint sort of crying sound to his dad! IE ‘i dont want to go!’

Plus i had a parenting feeding therapy fr kids (fr both) workshop tonight which was actually v informative n beneficial..
so i hugged him a lot n he smiled as i kept putting in words what I thought he was trying to tell me (eg miserable at dentists- painful long drive waiting time etc- ) and he kept giving m HUGE smiles when I correctly interpreted n hugged n cuddled
So we were half an hr late as he wanted n needed those cuddles

Anyway his dad called tonight n said he did v well during therapy n ate HALF a bag of Snap peas (! !) which are high in iron
And then knew his routine n took a bath v happily n laughing then slept

Doug ford
n his minions are such hypocrites
After a lot of protests fr them cutting programs n firing therapists et n creating a very erratic illogical plan fr Autistic kids which is essentially saying we give them enough fr 1-3 weeks of therapy or 1 month. Regardless of didability level n functioning level (eg the kids who cannot survive fr an hr without support will get the same paltry sum as the kids who are able to attend school without support, make friends etc)

once they are 18 they might as well go to hell

Now they tried to say they ‘contributed’ a certain amoumt fr ASD kids who are now removed frm all ASd programs n support due to Ford government’s evilness

Except its a lie/word jumble bcuz thats the amount kids get anyway regardless of whether they are ASd or not in school

Same here. I usually only sleep 4-6 hours...

So at work people always say “ you’re quiet” and I was to give a really sarcastic answer because I’m soooooooooooooo tired of hearing it. Wow you’re observant. Yes I am. You think so? Oh I didn’t notice. I’ve never heard that before... I just stare with an eye roll type face and nod yes. I think it makes them uncomfortable which kinda makes me feel better for having to deal with it so much.
