Local police radio -- some kind of raid apparently about to take place.

Time to head down into my tunnels.

Local police radio -- officers now out searching for an autistic man who ran away from his care center. :(

There sure are plenty of cute fish there. It reminds me of the flying betas in a dream I just had.

Duchamp should have some sort of toilet-fish, shouldn't he? Can't see it there...

What the heck is going on in Australia? (I think Raleigh and his diabolical weather control devices may be involved.)

Keyboard help needed.

I am struggling to finish my novel due to neck and shoulder problems. I write mostly long hand. I'm going to write more onto my laptop but need to get it into a good position. I've made a stand out of small tables and boxes for my laptop (lenovo) to sit on on top of the big table. And another lower one for the keyboard I am looking to buy so I can type and stand and not be looking down.

1)They mention batteries, how long do they last? are they special ones?

2)What do I need to look out for? I have wifi, will anything that says wifi work with my laptop then?

3)Are some keyboards better for the neck and wrists?

Update.

I have found for £5.99, one that plugs in it says

Quote:
It offers a full-sized keyboard with standard key profile and numerical pad for ease of use. The shape and design of the keyboard make it comfortable to use.

The high quality Advent K112 Keyboard is functional and affordable – and is perfect for day-to-day use.

The K112 Keyboard plugs into a standard USB port so it can be used with desktop PC or laptop. It is Windows compatible and requires zero setup so you can just plug in and use.

Does this mean it doesn't have batteries or need to be plugged into the wall or will it need one of those as well.
Sorry, this stuff goes right over my head.

Here's a pic, it looks old fashioned but the bigger keys might make it easier for me to feel as I learn to touch type and it's full size.

Yes, if it doesn't need another power source other than the connection to the laptop then it looks ideal but that connection might just be because it's not wifi.

I don't want to spend £5.99 and find it needs knew batteries every week and they're £80 each.

It says "plugs into a standard USB port" which ordinarily means that's its power source -- it's just like plugging in a little thumb drive. So no extra batteries or cord needed except the USB cable that connects the keyboard to the laptop. (If the laptop is running on battery, plugging in an extra keyboard may drain it a bit faster, but it sounds like you may have the whole setup plugged into the wall.)
