Any time, at summer camp, when they would only have baloney sandwiches for lunch.

Same question.

Cuba, although Mexico with a drunk pervert wasn't much better. Cozumel was pretty bad.

Did you ever get in trouble and have to stay after school?

It wasn't until my senior year in high school that I got my first after school detention. The dried up old hag (she was a an embarrassment for the whole womankind) that I had for US Gov't, would send me to the attendance office every time I was in the classroom but not in my seat when the bell rang. I would walk to the attendance office and ask for a tardy slip, and would be told that it's too early to be tardy. I would walk back to class and tell the hag that the attendance office won't give me one because it's too early. She would just send me straight back and tell me not to come back without one. Having walked back and forth enough times I would finally be tardy enough to get one. Then I had to put down an explanation on the slip why I was tardy. I wrote "the teacher is anal". The attendance office lady smirked, and stamped it. I took it back to the teacher and watched her face go through every shade of red. Not sure there are pantone cards for each of the colors I have seen. She sent me to the assistant principal of the school, who looked at it, asked me what happened, then laughed in my face and sent me back to class. She wrote me three after school detentions as a retaliation because the assistant principal won't do anything.

Sure, same question.

I don't think so, but I can't remember.

I was once reprimanded for being the last one in the queue after recess. I pointed out that I wasn't late, and someone is always last. I was almost sent home for being rude. I think of that every time I have to wait in line.

Do you know how to rig a fishing line?

Nope, don't even know what it means. Never been fishing.

Same question.

It means adjusting the tension, and attaching your tackle for the right conditions. Sometimes you have to replace the whole line if it gets tangled, broken, twisted, or won't retract.

Yes I've done it.

Have you ever cried in a cinema?

On fishing rods? Yeah, I think I still remember. I ultimately found that I don't like touching fish and bait, and the lack of ways to wash my hands clean while out fishing, so I haven't gone in many years. Chuck it up to OCD but I have to wash my hands constantly, and I can't stand it if my hands don't feel clean and dry.

----------------

Yeah, I tear up easily from touching or emotional scenes. Does that count as crying? It wasn't always like that. Up until mid-teens I was a poker-faced child that was weirded out by all the fuss about emotional and feely scenes or films. Then I met a girl that completely uncorked me so I leak from my eyes easily since then.

Same question.

I won't touch live bait, or the fish either! But I can rig a line with hooks and lures, no problem. :P

I've done quite a bit of fishing on boats and from shore. One time I caught a fish on shore just as my friend left, and I had no idea how to get it off by myself without touching it. I think that was the last time I fished alone. I felt terrible about it because I had to leave it in the water on the hook until they came back. I released it, but it still felt cruel.

Do you wear gloves in the winter?

Not nearly enough. I don't spend enough time outside so I do without, then suffer from dry, cracked, bleeding hands (cold removes moisture). I do have two pairs of gloves suitable for driving. Sometimes I wear them. Sometimes when walking in the park, though usually I just stick my hands in pockets.

Would you want to live in an apartment high off the ground?

I'm a New Yorker---I'm used to those sorts of apartments LOL

What I wish for-----is one with a terrace!

Do you like watching the scenery when you're at the top of a high-rise building?

Yes. I like to watch the people going about their daily lives. But my ex had one that you could see the sea that was relaxing

If you could rearrange the colours of a rainbow what order would you have them?

I wouldn't change the order. To me, no matter what "combination," the Rainbow would look just the same.

Have you ever tried to dig up some fossils?

Yeah. Once in a while I clean out the corners of my toenails. I think among the things I found there were DB Copper as well as Marcellus Wallace's soul. And a few more things.

Same question?

I used to be really into paleoanthropology. I used pretend to dig for fossils of early people.

Do you ever wish you could see a Neanderthal Man?

Not really. I have seen a reconstructed Neanderthal woman in the Paleoanthropological Museum, with fossils on display. Aside from the amusing number of times I was told to say "grand-grand" by the presenter, it is quite unremarkable. I think I've seen a woman on the subway that looked just like her.

Would you rather see a dinosaur or an early man?

Early Man! By a wide margin.

Do you believe the Australopithecines were the direct ancestors of the genus Homo?
