I am probably going to achieve 1,000 Posts soon, thus allowing me to choose a custom title.

Huzzah!

Say, could you explain the custom title concept to me?

Well, I think it's about freedom. Basically, you choose how you want to be thought of.

I am the resident crazy Taoist... and that's how I want people to think of me.

How can one insert their custom title and can it be edited?

After you reach one thousand post; you have that option in the
Edit Profile section & it can be edited

Thank you, Nick and Loony.

I finally saw the TNG episode where it's revealed that Data is "fully functional."

At this point, I don't see why people hate Wesley so much. Sure, what he did in this episode was stupid (although that's understandable, given the circumstances), but it was also pretty awesome.

Oh yes, that episode is marvellous. However, it is rivalled by TOS episode #039.

Pfft. TNG > ToS. Why?

1. Data
2. There are four lights

Edit: I was going to say that I'm not a Trekkie, but... I'm not sure if I can say that anymore, given the fact that I have an opinion about which of those is superior... and I have arguments for my view.

I view Mr. Spock as being superior to Data, thus making TOS superior to TNG.

I never liked Spock all that much.

I actually pointed out once that Data is the most human of the TNG crew, from my point of view.

Plus: Spot! Come on! You gotta give TNG points for Spot.

Edit: Or maybe I just like the fact that they played a lot of poker before the poker craze.

Met and had coffee with someone I love today and it was very nice. We had a great chat until it started snowing really hard and we each had to go our ways. Sweet!

I hope you get another coffee with them soon.

I found a shortcut to work today. And another shortcut on the way back

I own a house!

After 2.5 months of very frustrating escrow, I got the keys to my house and now I can start the many months of frustrating fixing it up. :D

Thank you for acknowledging my happy moment. It is good to share in the things that cheer us! Glad you found a way to shorten your time to and from work so you have more leisure time for yourself.

Congrats! Should be a very exciting time for you. Lots of work but satisfying as you make it 'your own'.
