I love Fall and cooler weather, yet winter does get a bit too cold sometimes. Now it is still almost warm enough for a/c yet sometimes the a/c makes it cold. Hmmm....

the house i bought is 70 years old, and i bought it in march, and i have been living here for 6 months, and i never considered until tonight the previous occupants of my house.

this house seems like it has always been mine, and i realized tonight that it was occupied by goodness knows how many people in the past.

the original occupants would be dead by now, and i realize that there are people in graveyards who called my living area "home" when they were alive.

i wonder (if houses have spirits) whether this house likes that i now own it. it is easy to be ignorant. i am in my lounge room now that is set up to my liking (a cockpit style arrangement), and i feel that my lounge room was always in this configuration, but in reality, there must have been vastly different arrangements and contents of furniture through the 1930's and 1940's and 1950's and 1960's and 1970's and 80's and 90's etc than how i have it set up now.

how many words have been said in this lounge room in the past?
