there is no such thing as "random".
every manifestation that takes place in the universe takes place because it is inevitable.
from a human perspective, "inevitability" is an amorphous notion.
but ultimate inevitability is the result of all preceding modifiers to the current circumstance ,
and the current circumstance was caused by precedents that were not accidental.
i do not believe in either accidents or miracles. they are very closely related to each other
I think that "circumstance" therefore - in this context - an inevitable past can't affect an inevitable future.
i am not quite sure what you are saying. i think the past and the future are just opposite directions away from "now" (which is a point in time). anyway, this is the "random" thread, and so i guess it may not be the place for a detailed discussion, but never the less, i think that there are an infinite number of universes that all follow an inevitable course of manifestation based upon the possibilities that are most likely to eventuate in each universe.
since nothing is impossible, then all possibilities will eventually be actuated somewhere some time, and since an infinite number of possibilities exists at any given instant of time,
then they must all actuate simultaneously in all their respective universal manifestations.
what will happen in the entirety of the life of our material universe will only be able to be determined after there is too little bound energy to cause a further occurrence, and then the history of the universe will be able to be seen as inevitable given the conditions in the instant of this big bang we all live in when it sprang into existence.

They are either already there, either they aren't there and it is only a perception.
well i have never been outside of my head, so all i know is what i perceive, and what i think about what i perceive. what i perceive may be entirely divorced from any reality. who knows? i do not think anyone will ever know.

I can't see how accidents and miracles can be related to each other.
well i define an accident as something that occurs "for no reason" that has a negative result. when people say "i was involved in an accident", i think they really mean "i made a mistake" or "i could not control something that rapidly led to a negative result", but i have always thought of the word "accident" as a situation where everyone scratches their heads wondering what went wrong, and no cause can be found, therefore some people see it as "bad luck" (which is an example of magical thinking).
i looked up the definition tonight and found that the word "accident" does not mean what i thought it fundamentally meant, but if the word "accident" meant what i believed it to mean, then it would mean the opposite of "miracle" which i think means "something that happens with no cause that has a beneficial result"
so therefore, "i have nothing random to say", but that is inappropriate to post in a thread titled "got anything random to say".
