Hello peoples.
You'll be pleased to know that the floods have now put out all the fires.

It's good to know you're okay!

Who says video games can't save the world? Scott Manley is the man.

I spent the equivalent of about $70 on a virtual estate. But I used accumulated reward points rather than buying them outright to get it.

I see that Eve Online is F2P (free to play). But even when a video game is free to play, one usually ends up sinking cash into it. I see its subscription rate of $14.95 a month is the same as the game I play.

I am a bit peeved that video game has spaceships and mine does not. Just because it is based on the Lord of the Rings, is no excuse to exclude spaceships. I have quite a few cool horses though.

Now I wait for the locusts to rid us of all the weeds.

that reminds me of what happened to my brother and my cousin (and my brother's big lifelong crush who he wanted to marry but she was already engaged to someone else when he finally worked up the guts to propose)... at American Intl School Jeddah their Arabic teacher (who seemed very traumatized... i recently found out that FGM is practiced in Egypt a lot and she was from Egypt//idk what else goes on there but yeah i don't feel it's her fault, what she did)

They had Arabic first period, she walked in with a plastic shopping bag. She put it on her desk and she said today we will learn about this. And she pulled out a dead pigeon. Apparently she had found it outside on her way to work and decided it was the perfect on-the-spot lesson.

And Naira, my brother's crush, she apparently was so shocked that she was in tears.

But she made them say dead bird in arabic, and use it in sentences.
like this (in arabic) :

who killed the bird? did the fox kill the bird? did the cat kill the bird?

Then she assigned video projects.. my cousin took inspiration from this horrible thing, which of course, seemed hilarious to him, and decided to base his video on a sketch about a farmer finding a dead bird amongst his livestock....

I started playing Eve online at the end of 2005 through till 2012 and a large part of that time I used in game currency (Plex) to pay for a second account long before it turned into F2P. Before that, I mostly played City of Heroes but I also have played some other's like DDO, Star wars old republic, Neverwinter, The Lord of the Rings Online, Star Trek Online, Champions Online, Age of Conan, World of Tanks, and World of Warships. I spent a lot of time in Lord of the rings using multiple accounts jamming out playing music for the masses.

I am beginning to think there is more than one Yelling Woman. Either that or she visits people all over the building.

"What do you have to say?? What do you have to say??" "No!! No!!" "I told you, I don't care about that!!" "That's what I said!!"

My bad. I'll try to be more quiet next time.

Well, captain, she swears like a sailor, so I probably should have figured it was you.
