This has actually made me realize that I need to try harder. Once I try at something for a decent amount of time I give up, but I never truly fail due to ability.. it’s the fact that it’s hard so I give up. I’ve done that with running, math, sports.

Do you believe that there is some kind of intelligent life on other planets?

I remember when we were still together and I had a newborn, in my mid-20s. A woman friend of mine said "I don't know how you have energy for all of that. Marriage is such hard work!" It was the first time I realised that relationships and marriages used up energy and required effort. I hadn't thought of it like that until she pointed it out. All in all, that relationship was 15 years of my life wasted (dating ---> brief marriage ---> aftermath) and even now 25 years later, he causes me stress and money in court. The whole thing was a waste except that I got the most amazing child ever as a result, so it was worth it all.

Intelligent Life: I'm still unsure if there's any on Earth. Other planets? Almost certainly.

I think it’s highly likely that there are intelligent beings on other planets. The idea that we are the only species out of a whole universe with trillions of planets is ignorant and egotistical.

If you could only read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?

What defines you as a person in general?

My brain. Without a brain I’d be nothing, so I suppose it defines me as a person.

One book forever? Um.

Contenders include - Villette, WH, The Picture of Dorian Gray

Maybe poetry? If so, this:

What defines me? Being childlike, and chill.

Artistic - Yes.

If you could relive one year of your life without changing anything, which year / age would you pick?

I took what defines me as a person very literally. I still don’t entirely understand the question.

Age 7

Second choice, age 4 - but I'm assuming I wouldn't have much awareness at that age in order to enjoy / remember it.

Do you watch Shark Week?

Never known any.

Have you ever hand washed big stuff?
Namely item clothing or textiles as big or bigger than blankets.

I've spot washed or dry cleaned huge things, but not hand washed.

My new toy is a dust mite remover with a UV light and HEPA filter.

I use it on my weighted blanket to get any dust or pet dander off it.

I don't recall anything where I had to hand-wash something.

Would you want to move to an underwater city or a colony on Mars?

That depends. Can I breathe underwater in this scenario?

Very little, to be honest. I'm remarkably similar to how I was as a child or teen. I've changed more since my 20-30s than anything else, because I stopped working and trying to be someone I wasn't.

Hmm... Somewhat less tense, angry, and obnoxiously rigid.
More tired, confused and confusing.
Still moody though.

What add ons or toppings of ice cream do you like the most?
