When I walked through town on Tuesday afternoon (4pm ish) I went in all three supermarkets on my way: Sainsbury’s was empty of food, Tesco about three quarters empty, and Morrison’s about half.
I think this is folks with more money hoarding more effectively.
You might have more luck in a cheaper supermarket

I would say those fractions are accurate for here too, except instead of Morrison's it's Aldi. I managed to get

salad there still. It shows that it's not the supply that's a prob it's just idiots because the salad comes in from

Spain. I am ok for food, early on I checked my cupboards and found an old pack of lentils. I could prob live on

just them for a month. Last night Tesco had def had more stock than night before. I bought six months supply of

red wine (two mini bottles :) :) ).

Oh, good :D

Yes: I think my wife is now quite thankful for my tendency to abandon half-used packets of dried foodstuffs in the back of the cupboard!

We’ve filled the freezer with 4 pinters of milk and bags of pre-cut frozen veggies.
(and got the Tea bags fully stocked of course!)

Think I might see if I can get out the house early tomorrow for yeast, flour, butter and cheese.

Hasn’t occurred to us to get alcohol! There is a bottle of Rioja I bought last year sometime by the bread-basket though... so that’ll prob be more than enough!

I quite like lentils and pearl barley.

These are usually in my cupboard along with other dried foods.

I have been keeping one or two cartons of long life milk for years - I use it and replace it every few months before it expires.

Having health issues mean I can't always get to the shops so I have got used to living like this.

I doubt anyone will laugh at my ways now.

I just hope others can adapt and overcome quickly.

my son just went to sleep when nothing else was helping. he was screaming and crying.
he was crying at everything else, even videos of ceiling fans and washing machines that he had asked for

then I put on WHO LET THE DOGS OUT who who who who ... that had him mesmerized till he fell asleep peacefully at last.

the song seems to be calling men who are ogling women 'flea-infested mongrels'
sort of self-hating, since the singers are men

Went for an outdoor walk to escape stress. You’d think a half-Texan girl who grew up in North Carolina would’ve adapted to 36 degree weather in New England by now.

Yep, that's me. The only times I go out anyway are to take the dog for a walk.
