I went to buy the ingredients to make bolognaise last night, the closest I got was a box of cornetos. Sainsbury's was
so empty when I go in again tomoz I'm going to take something in with me for them, they need it more than I do. I
just need to rummage around in my cupboard till I find something that doesn't say Tesco on it.
When I walked through town on Tuesday afternoon (4pm ish) I went in all three supermarkets on my way: Sainsbury’s was empty of food, Tesco about three quarters empty, and Morrison’s about half.
I think this is folks with more money hoarding more effectively.
You might have more luck in a cheaper supermarket

I would say those fractions are accurate for here too, except instead of Morrison's it's Aldi. I managed to get
salad there still. It shows that it's not the supply that's a prob it's just idiots because the salad comes in from
Spain. I am ok for food, early on I checked my cupboards and found an old pack of lentils. I could prob live on
just them for a month. Last night Tesco had def had more stock than night before. I bought six months supply of
red wine (two mini bottles

).
Yes: I think my wife is now quite thankful for my tendency to abandon half-used packets of dried foodstuffs in the back of the cupboard!
We’ve filled the freezer with 4 pinters of milk and bags of pre-cut frozen veggies.
Think I might see if I can get out the house early tomorrow for yeast, flour, butter and cheese.
Hasn’t occurred to us to get alcohol! There is a bottle of Rioja I bought last year sometime by the bread-basket though... so that’ll prob be more than enough!
