(gasp) they NSA have stolen the secret final step of the production process for the cockpit power supplies in Euro Fighter Jets! :o

think I’m kidding?
Nope.
Worked in the factory they’re made in, a big welsh bloke hits them with a wooden mallet till they pass the quality control tests.

(If any security bods ever see this I would like to point out that I was never required to sign the official secrets act.)

Apologies, I am here to rant.

I am bloody fuming. I have wasted an hour and a half attempting to cancel my auto renewal Norton. The reminder

said it would go ahead if I did not contact them before the 22nd so I tried to do it this evening. It was a f*****g

nightmare, round and round I went because there was no slider to move or a tog or an off, nothing moved at all. I

followed all the instructions. In the end I gave up and gave them my phone number (they need that in order to talk

to me online  ) and they said they would be able to chat with me in one hour and forty eight minutes.

Conveniently putting it over to the 22nd. So they are going to charge me tomorrow and I am going to have to try

for a refund so I looked at how to do that and what do you think it says under the refund for auto renewal 'make

sure you cancel a few days in advance otherwise it is in the middle of process and may be difficult'. Why didn't

they put that in the earlier bit  so they can charge me, I am so annoyed at them. It's £89, I am not

letting this go.

Ok, so I'm glad that's out, I feel a bit better now.

Excellent. I'm very glad and your books are ecstatic. I managed to get eggs today. I got quite excited when I got to the edge of the Aldi car park and just pocking round the side was the front of a delivery lorry :D .

Same.

A day on the phone to be refunded cancellation fees for the flights to California, which are "free cancellation" because of the virus, but I cancelled online (two weeks ago) and was charged nonetheless. Total time on hold, like 3 hours with bad music. I couldn't deal with the airline because "we are not accepting calls at this time", so this was just to speak with my credit card company. I have no idea why I couldn't lodge a dispute online like normal and they forced me to wait on hold for something so stupid. Then tried ordering TTY for my phone service since I'm mute. Another 1.5 hours on hold with phone company who won't do it via online chat. Then told they aren't doing that service right now because of the virus. They're too busy. Try again some other time. On Thursday I had my new dryer delivered and I paid for new vents and installation. They didn't bring the vents but still charged me for them. They said on Thurs that the men would return on Sat with the vents to install. They didn't arrive. I was more hours on hold for that, only to be told they dispatched them through the mail and I'd have to install them myself despite paying for installation and despite being disabled. Then my car which was in the shop for 10 days getting a new transmission died the first time we drove it. The battery is dead. Finally got it jumped and was told that the battery is shot and I need a new one at full cost.

A plate hit the wall and I feel a bit better now.

Thanks Deep for saying "Please Wait" by magic, at the right moment or I would have hurt myself.

 kill them all!

Big hugs Isa, that all sounds awful. After one thing went to s**t I wouldn't have even attempted anything else for a while so you did really well to keep going. And that plate deserved it, it was nothing but trouble.

Truth. It was just sitting there in my way with stale baked goods. It was so flipping smug.

Mugging delivery drivers now are we? Well, they said the fabric of society was going to collapse from this, and it appears to be happening.

I knew you'd show up, to investigate my baked goods brutality.

You may have the crumbs.
