I had one the other night that stood out as being rather odd. I keep forgetting detail the longer I leave writing it down, I should really do a dream diary or something and write them as soon as I wake up.
I was travelling somewhere, I don't know where exactly but I was going to some place. But I decided to join in with this large group of people instead, about class size who were all working with animals. Some were top biologists and some were just zoo keepers or dog breeders, they were going to places around the world to look animals they really want to see. I tagged along and stood at the back of this queue, someone asked me who I was and I lied and said I was a zoo keeper and my dream was to go to the Congo to look at bonobos, and I was hoping that we'd see them on our travels. Of course the last bit was true, but the zoo keeper bit is all a total lie so they thought I was one of them. We were lining up by a grey building, that was really old looking and we were standing by a gate. In front of us was what looked like a field you'd find in Britain and the sun wasn't exactly out. But after a bit it turned into an African plain with elephants and antelope type things, the grass was bright green and the sun was bright. We all walked through the gate and into Africa (this is of course a dream so anything makes sense, even walking to Africa), I looked around like "woah holy s**t!" but at the same time kind of disappointed I hadn't seen what I came for. I was exploring and stuff, then a playful elephant started running towards me, at least I thought he was so I started to run in the opposite direction. I ran really fast, I didn't want him running over to me even if his intentions were good, I couldn't be 100% sure and he looked like he could clumsily tread on me. He bounded up to me just like a dog and knocked something over as he went past, I think it was an antelope. Then more things I happened that I forgot.
We were then on a boat to some place near the sea, like a town in the coast. As far as I know we were back in England. I didn't like the boat because it rocked too much and I was dreading going on it again on the way back from where ever. I don't know what animals we were looking for but something mentioned birds at some point. I was browsing through shops on my own and was looking for christmas presents. I was in an indoor market with stalls selling all sorts of different things, one stall had lots of lunch box foods in a fridge, like sandwiches and bottles of pop. I saw a Muller corner yoghurt and thought that would make a nice gift for my friend Alex (lol wtf) and I picked up this other thing, I was trying to count my money while holding the yoghurt and other thing. I didn't quite know if I had enough because I needed half my money for something else, I kept picking up the yoghurt and putting it back down again. I eventually decided to just get him a gift voucher another time, a woman from the animal group went up to me and told me it was time to go. I was walking along the promenade nervous about the boat, then a young girl about my age told me I don't need to use the boat and there's a train that goes a long a bridge straight across the sea to the mainland. I went to the ticket office and bought the ticket, then boarded the train which was somewhere to my left. I didn't want to stay with the travellers any more and do my own thing (I often dream of complete freedom, where nothing is compulsory so I walk away from things or fall asleep in class, it gives me a strange feeling that I like. Almost like I'm rebelling a rule that needn't be followed.) In one of the carriages there were tables and chairs and I saw my old friend Scott from junior school, I tried to avoid him but he saw me so I sat with him on his table in the middle. I sat opposite him, and when the train moved the tables kept sliding across the floor including ours, and I sat and watched as my friend was sliding all over the place. We also spoke and had a laugh, and ate but I forgot what, something long and crisp-like.
I forgot what happened next but it had a lot to do with Scott and I.

I had an extremely f****d up one last night and I don't know whether to post it or not, or how much of it to post. It's just so stupid and crazy it's embarrassing. The least f****d up part is a gorilla in a zoo dying of dissentry or some similar disease, but not seeing it happen just told about it by one of the keepers.
If I told you the whole thing you'd probably say I need psychiatric help it was that weird. I think I've gone MAD.

Yes, please edit it. And I didn't mean it in a whiny or demanding fashion. I'd like to read people's posts, but I find it difficult when they're formatted as a wall of text.

I blame CSS code for it quite often, as I prefer actually being able to use indent to spacing or -------- to signify stuff like indents. I Mostly made the point because I just get tired of people pointing out the obvious. Your not the only one I have done it to, so don't feel alone. Was more or less a 'constructive troll post' that I did to point out that yes, it is annoying but not nothing to freak out over like some people do.

The post above mine up there was a stretch of text that made you scroll the whole page sideways for a very long time (It was edited by now though). It wasn't your post that I was referring a please edit to. You didn't do anything wrong
Or am I off about what you were referring to?

i thought you might have been at least partially referring to some of my voluminous dream recollections. they are typically so complicated that if i arbitrarily break them up into short paragraphs, i would distort them and compromise their sense. so i split them where i determine that the meaning would still be clear. needless to say, i am no real writer. in my hands, words are clumsy vehicles for my meandering meanings and idiosyncratic intentions.

A word is not a crystal, transparent and unchanging, it is the skin of a living thought and may vary greatly in color and content according to the circumstances and time in which it is used.

The night leading to today, I dreamt that I was outside, in an asphalted area, in a sort of back alley, in a rather large group of mostly non-hostile people, but three of them were people I've known in the past (one of which sort of was a friend, in real life). One of the guys, "F", started to talk about stealing the wristwatch I was wearing. Before he had time to finish his sentence about what he and the other two guys would do, I forcily strangled him to death with my whole arm. Then I pointed at another of the guys, "J", telling him he was next, and then at my old friend "A", that he would be after that. "A" expressed fear in his face, but it just made me feel nothing when I saw it...
It was a kind of funny dream. A bit bland, though... I miss my old gore dreams... where did they go?
