Nah, photos from phones don’t work: it needs to be uploaded to a website that allows sharing first.
And you can’t have the app for the pic sharing site you use on your phone, because you need to open the picture in your browser to get the link... and your phone will helpfully open it in the app if it’s there.

Youngster to the rescue.

Don't feel bad. That one was a little tricky. I'm not sure if I could have done it from a phone.

Ah, thank you. I used the same Web site I use on my computer, but it wanted me to get the app, then it took me a while to figure out where to go to post my pictures, then I had to figure out how to get the URL... I fully admit I'm somewhat technologically challenged

Ah, OK. I'll switch over to my computer for pictures in the future. I thought I'd skip the step of getting the picture from my phone to my computer, but I guess that doesn't work.

Not as far as I’m aware.
I need to tell my computer that it isn’t in Slough first...
Last/first time I tried to log in on it, it locked my account and I had to email admin, I’m guessing that was the reason why.
(It’s second hand and still thinks it’s in an office building about 150miles from my study  )

What you need to do is hold your thimb on the image and then hit "open image in a new tab" when the menu pops up. That way you are linking the image instead of the website it is hosted on.

Mrs K and I have just finished re-housing the second third of a 10”dia cabbage & boiled egg pie I made over the weekend.
Tomorrow evening this magnificent savoury pastry will be fully rendered unto its loving new home.

That's the image I was trying to post. His name is Arthur, because I have a dog named Merlin.

I am afraid the pie may have to be confiscated on behalf of the European Union for it's size not being given in metric. Brussels will come to a decision about the cabbage and egg pie as soon as Brussels has worked out whether The United Kingdom is still bound by the rules of The European Union on this issue.

While waiting for a decision please follow directive E4576 section C on all matters concerning cabbage, directive E4682 section B on all matters concerning eggs (partial or whole) and directive E6543 section D on all matters concerning pastry.

I think that issue has been filed under “fcuk knows” for the timebeing.

It’s George Bernard Shaw’s recipe: will that get me into trouble with anyone?
There may be militant piedentitarians who regard its lack of a pastry base as the greatest offence against true piedom. 8O
