I sometimes get to work from home on Tuesdays and I like those workdays best of all. ^_^

Me, too!
I NEVER wanted to grow up. My mom tells me I protested adulthood from a very young age.

When I was a child and later, being a young girl under 18 I dreamed to be adult but shortly after my 18th birthday I realized that this day in fact didn't change anything because I still lived with my pathologically overprotective mother (I still do) who wants to lead me by the hand for all my life and I couldn't even choose the colour of the walls in my own room when it was renovated.

Btw, it was a day of my 18th birthday when my mother was informed that my grandmother had a skin cancer that couldn't be operated. She lived 7 months yet.

I do not trust anyone.

The truth is out there. Trust Noone.

I have lived with the motto: "give respect to those who deserve it and not to those who don't" I feel people should earn my respect and it's not a treat to be given for free. I'll obey orders from those in authority, but if they've proven themselves idiots why should I kiss their butts? This attitude has gotten me fire at a few jobs, but I am better off not working with those inferior Nimrods.

I have a habit of dunking my head in the sink every morning, while the water is running, just to get my hair all wet & comb it throughly to give myself the "Just-got-of-the-shower" look.

I'm a Christian and if anyone has a problem with it, keep it to yourself.

Individual beliefs are easily respected, so long as they do not cross, no pun intended, the line and get projected onto others. As someone who is not a Christian, I have spent my entire life being persecuted by this particular group as it seems they are unable to accept me for having a different belief and must inform me that I must change and accept their prophet/savior, blah blah blah, which is EXTREMELY offensive. I was raised Catholic and have much of the inside information, including that this particular faith is designed to convert the non-believers. In the past, this was done through systematic torture and murder of any groups who did not believe. You add in the more recent bigotry and hatred projected onto Homosexuals in denying them equal basic human rights and I am quite disgusted and fed up. While I will respect anyone to have their own belief, I despise anyone projecting, or even worse, enforcing them onto the rights and beliefs of others.

In the long run the choices you make are your own.

I'm going to the gynecologist today and I don't like it - it's disgusting when someone is looking into the natural holes of your body :?

I offered to help a homeless guy in a wheelchair to cross the railroad tracks on my way back from dinner just now. He declined, but that is okay.

I have a wild rat living in my bedroom and no one else knows. It won't eat the bread I put down for it, so it must be cautious.

I would advise the same.

I have a bird on my shoulder who just cleaned her beak on my neck.

This is post 1998 for me.

In 1998 I finished my Masters and started my PhD. The defense of my Thesis and the Oral PhD Qualifier Exams highlighted my trouble with speaking in front of people. It was rough, but I got through it. At one point, I could not even remember my name. I also knocked up my wife, which forced me to get a real job and put off finishing my PhD.

Music from 1998:
Barenaked Ladies "Stunt"
Beastie Boys "Hello Nasty"
Beck "Mutations"
Dropkick Murphys "Do Or Die"
Guster "Goldfly"
The Jesus & Mary Chain "Munki"
Kilowatthours "All Things Regarding"
Midnight Oil "Redneck Wonderland"
R.E.M. "Up" - Great tour too! Front row through the Fan Club.
The Samples "Here & Somewhere Else"
The Samples "The Tan Mule"
Seven Mary Three "Orange Ave."
They Might Be Giants "Severe Tire Damage"
2 Skinnee J's "¡$Uper! Mercado" - Finally signed and putting out a full-length album. They even did a video for 'Riot Nrrrd' that played late night on MTV.
